I was expanding the existing article with a substantial, sourced translation and adaptation of content from the Portuguese Wikipedia article about the Escola Politécnica. The edit adds historical background, academic organization, engineering programs, student activities, notable people, images and references. The content is legitimate encyclopedic material and is not intended to alter or deface the appearance of the page. The edit filter appears to have produced a false positive.

Edit was not disallowed though a change to the filter may be needed. Daniel Quinlan modified the filter just 22 hours ago to run against extended confirmed users but to prevent the amount of false positives from these users. This should not be normally triggering for EC users because of !contains_any(user_groups, "extendedconfirmed") & in line 23 but there is a !contains_any(user_groups, "sysop", "bot") & at the start (in line 3) which still causes extended confirmed users to receive MediaWiki:Abusefilter-warning-commonname. — SimpleObjects-9ei 🍂/🌰/🤗 (see talk) 00:13, 30 August 2026 (UTC)

I've also had similar trips occur, also on 30 August, after the above (between 11:36 and 12:39, UTC), on VDARE.com, WorldNetDaily.com, UrbanDictionary.com, www.urbandictionary.com, NDTV.com, NNDB.com, NewsMax.com, FrontPageMagazine.com, DailyCaller.com, AlterNet.org, and CreateSpace.com. The last one is the only one for Special:AbuseFilter/894, the rest and above are Special:AbuseFilter/869, Special:AbuseFilter/1045 and Special:AbuseFilter/1034. Report of Articles for Creation Submission Error

I am trying to submit a draft titled “Draft:Yunusa Adamu Dangwani” for review through Wikipedia’s Articles for Creation process.

The draft is a biography of Yunusa Adamu Dangwani, a Nigerian medical doctor and politician. However, when I attempted to submit the draft for review, Wikipedia automatically blocked the action and displayed the following error:

“An error occurred (abusefilter-disallowed: This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe this was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: LTA 1365.”

I believe this may have been triggered automatically, as I was attempting to make a constructive submission for review.

I would appreciate it if an administrator or experienced editor could review the issue and advise me on how to proceed with the submission. I am willing to make any necessary changes to the draft or provide additional information required under Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines.
