This article is about The Planet Crafter, a 2024 open-world survival game independently developed and published by Miju Games. Earlier this year, in March, I helped promote this game's article to GA status after the first peer review. I recently had a peer review on this article. I believe it meets the Featured Article criteria and welcome feedback for further improvement. Monkegamer123 (talk) 02:08, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

In the peer review I called out a bunch of jargon words that needed to be explained. As far as I can tell, that has not yet be done. RoySmith (talk) 02:17, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
- In response to the peer review, I’ve replaced or clarified the jargon in the lead and throughout the article. Terms such as open-world, survival, early access, downloadable content, terraformation, player character, Unity engine, Steam, GOG.com, biomes, and others are now either simplified or briefly explained where they first appear. - There's now a blue issue in the first para. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:21, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
- I removed the link for open-world as it is more likely to be self-explanatory. Monkegamer123 (talk) 02:52, 24 June 2026 (UTC)

Image review
- Suggest adding alt text
- Don't use fixed px size
- Generally speaking, the more non-free images included, the stronger the rationale needed for each - the screenshots have very similar rationales, which don't make a strong case for both being necessary. Nikkimaria (talk) 02:20, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
- I have removed the Planet Humble image, added alt text to the remaining images (cover art and partially terraformed planet), and removed the fixed pixel sizing so the images use default thumbnail sizing. Monkegamer123 (talk) 05:47, 23 June 2026 (UTC)

Heyo. I don't plan on doïng a full review, but I feel like the Gameplay section fails to comprehensively describe what the player is supposed to do. I understand the broad stuff; the player should "explore" and terraform the planet by modifying environmental features such as the atmosphere, temperature, and ecology, and requires players to manage resources as the planet develops. Apparently the player "constructs" machines that help with this goal. But the article fails to explain: how the player constructs the machines, what these machines are, the end condition of the game, how the player is supposed to acquire power for the machines, what happens if the player runs out of oxygen, what the "matter-manipulation gun" does, what happens when the player accomplishes terraforming the planet, how the player "manages resources"...
I could probably think of more examples, but I will oppose for now. toby (t)(rw) 21:46, 23 June 2026 (UTC)
- I added explanations of what the machines are, how the player constructs them (based on available sources, primarily descriptions of the building menu), what happens if the player runs out of oxygen, what happens when the player finishes terraforming the planet. I removed the managing resources part. I was not able to describe and explain the function of the "matter-manipulation gun" in detail, as there is limited sourcing available. The only description I found refers to it as a "futuristic multitool," which I have included. Monkegamer123 (talk) 00:03, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
Drive-by from Icepinner
Apologies, I don't plan on doing a full review, just some drive-by comments on source formatting (criterion 2c).
- The formatting of the dates is inconsistent: I see date-month-year, month-date-year, and YYYY-MM-DD all used; choose one for consistency.
- Some sources have archived links while many don't; either include archived links for all of them or don't include it (I would go for the former due to the possiblity of link rot)

- I have finished with formatting the dates, which are all now month-date-year, and I also added archive links to all sources. eve the eternal (hi) 17:33, 2 July 2026 (UTC)

Recusing to review.
- Assuming this is a video game, could the first sentence say so, per MOS:FIRST.
- Done.
- "The player controls a convicted astronaut". So is this a person who used to work as an astronaut but is now a scavenger? And are we talking about a person who is currently a convict, or one who has a firmly held belief?
- I changed it to "a convict", which fits the plot.
- The lead is a summary of the main article, but I am struggling to find mention of "convicted" in the latter.
- "who scavenges a barren planet and its moons while gathering resources". 1. I assume they scavenge on the planet rather than scavenge the actual planet? 2. What is the difference between scavenging and "gathering resources"?
- Fixed. I changed the lead to say "who scavenges barren planets and their moons to gather resources, construct machines, and transform the environment."
- "an optional, additional expansion". Suggest delete "additional".
- Done.
- "lack of oxygen, thirst, starvation." Insert "or".
- Done.
- "a metric that tracks planetary progress." Progress towards what?
- Done. I added "towards complete terraformation."
- "that increase oxygen, heat, and pressure to modify the planet's atmosphere. As these measurements increase, the global ecology shifts to support plant and animal life." I am unfamiliar with the game, but if I were terraforming a real planet - think Venus - then an increase in, say, pressure would not necessarily be what I wanted. Could you confirm that increases to oxygen, 'heat' and pressure always shift the ecology towards supporting life in the game world.
- Reading it over, it would make more sense to use "temperature" for clarity. To answer your question: yes, in this game world, continuously increasing oxygen, heat, and pressure always shifts the ecology towards supporting life with no negative caps.
- "anywhere on the map and still power machines anywhere on the planet." What is the difference between "the map" and "the planet".
- Fixed. I changed it to "... these generators can be placed anywhere on the planet and still power machines regardless of where they are placed."
- "that increase oxygen, heat, and pressure". Do you mean heat or temperature? They are different things.
- "Reading it over, it would make more sense to use 'temperature' for clarity."
- "The option to leave the planet, ending the game, or go to other nearby planets and moons". Grammar alert.
- Fixed.
- "Machines and buildings are crafted by going into a menu." At any time? With no preconditions?
- I changed this sentence to "Machines and buildings can be constructed by going into a crafting menu, requiring only that the player has the necessary materials in their inventory."
I am going to pause here for the nominator to respond. The above is just from the lead and the first section and the article is looking under prepared for FAC to me. Gog the Mild (talk) 16:36, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
- I have responded to your review. eve the eternal (hi) 21:03, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
