On one point, Development of Mother 3 no longer exists, and thus should be removed. However, part of the merge discussion that saw this happen involved the recreation of EarthBound 64, which would be relevant, as it is a fork of Mother 3, and thus fails 1d (though with clarification that this was not an issue of cherrypicking but instead a new ddevelopment). Being that EarthBound 64's article is based on a >10 year old version and has myriad sourcing that needs implementing on the talk page, I believe that this topic should be delisted for the time being. - Cukie Gherkin (talk) 16:36, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

@Cukie Gherkin What would need to be done to get it up to the GA status? I'm currently busy with finals but in a few weeks' time I can probably get working on this. • Alas, delist – The article is not currently of GA-status, and I think it would be best to give the article time to be improved. There's no indication it will reach GA status soon, but I have no doubt it will eventually. • Delist Until Earthbound 64 is improved to Good Article status. Earthbound 64 is a quite indepth topic on its own as a cancelled video game, and in my opinion deserved a standalone page, so this is ultimately a good thing as it will ensure that it hopefully gets the attention it deserves. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 21:30, 29 April 2026 (UTC)

• BTW just noticed that there are five character articles that should be part of this topic too (Category:Mother (video game series) characters), and only one of them is GA currently. • Comment I do not have an opinion on whether it should be put on hold or delisted, but I just want to note that while there are a lot of sources listed on the talk page of EarthBound 64, not all have to be used to achieve GA status.
