• This is a copyrighted logo of a sports league. How is it possibly below a threshold of originality? The license seems correct, similar to File:National Basketball Association logo.svg. It was first used in the 2005–06 NHL season, hence the name. It should not be renamed since the date differentiates other NHL logos such as File:NHL100th.png and File:NHL 1992.png.
