A lyrics booklet page is not an appropriate substitute for album cover artwork when no official cover exists. Per WP:NFC and WP:NFCC, non-free content must be used minimally and only when it is both necessary and contextually significant. A booklet scan does not meet this requirement and constitutes non-free content that is not essential to the article. (Additionally, the file was uploaded based on information from Discogs, which is not considered a reliable source for media verification under WP:USERG. User-generated sites cannot be used to justify or source non-free images.) Sricsi (talk) 17:10, 26 February 2026 (UTC)

  • @Sricsi: You can add more files to this discussion if you want, but you should follow the instructions given on the WP:FFD (see the "How to list a file for discussion manually" part) page when doing so and tag the files accordingly. In addition, although USERG may apply to treating Discogs and UGC sites as a reliable source for textual content about an album, it doesn't necessary apply to WP:NFCC#4 (WP:NFC#Meeting the previous publication criterion) and WP:NFCC#10a in the same way. I don't think there's a blanket ban on using such sites as a source for non-free album covers, at least not one I've come across, and I've asked about this a couple times before at WT:NFCC. Ideally, an official source would be best (which can be a UGC source), but a site like Discogs seems to be allowed as long as it can be resonably assumed that the cover was previously published (i.e., the UGC site isn't being used to "leak" the cover by someone other than its copyright holder before its intended release date), and its accuracy isn't being called into question. -- Marchjuly (talk) 20:44, 26 February 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete per WP:NFCC#8. As far as I can tell, none of these songs were ever release with their cover images, so no image is the most appropriate course. WidgetKid converse 21:57, 26 February 2026 (UTC)
