The purpose claim this "image serves as the primary means of visual identification of the subject" but that is false as primary visual identification is being provided in the infobox by File:Eric Pollard.jpg. Additionally, there is claim that this collage of images is needed to illustrate the longevity of the character, but there is no sourced critical commentary about the appearance of the character over the time.   • Keep, Eric Pollard is Emmerdale's longest serving character. Such as Ian Beale portrayed by Adam Woodyatt in EastEnders, is their longest serving character. Having been portrayed by the actor since 1985 respectively. Also on the Ian Beale article, there is also a decade image very like this one on that article.     Your response here really doesn't address the issues raised in the nomination. That the Ian Beale article also does this has no bearing on this discussion. This file does not appear to comply with the non-free content criteria, specifically:

  • Criterion 1, because the file is replaceable by text, . . . , which would serve the same encyclopedic purposes

  • Delete per WP:NFCC#1, WP:NFCC#8 and MOS:TEXTASIMAGES if this needs to remain licensed as non-free use: there's no real need for readers to see a non-free image of a page handwritten notes about script changes any more than there would be a need for to see a non-free image of a page from the final script itself. The information on this page can be summarized and added a text to the article itself, which already seems to be the case. Seeing the page doesn't improve the reader's understanding of its content to such a degree that not seeing it would be detrimental to that understanding; so, this is essentially WP:DECORATIVE non-free use.
    Now, having posted all of that, an more interesting discussion perhaps would be whether the content on the page itself is eligible for copyright protection. The photo of the page could be argued to be ineligible for copyright protection for being just a slavish reproduction of another work, but the copyright status of actual content of the page itself would also need to be assessed. Is it a form of copyright-protected prose or just simply a bunch of uncopyrightable written text? I'd imagine said content should be eligible for copyright protection much in the same way as page from a book would also be eligible for copyright protection. If, though, the timeline in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure#Writing is correct, this early draft could've been created prior to March 1, 1989, and might never have been registered for copyright protection; so, I guess it could be argued that this might be {{PD-US-1989}} depending on when it was first published. The source provided for the file no longer seems to be working, but appears to be a tweet by the person or persons who created the script. If the tweet is considered the first publication of this draft version, then it's unlikely not going to enter into the public domain for many years to come (i.e., 70 years p.m.a.). -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:51, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • File is simple geometry and text and does not fall under the author’s own intellectual creation test that has been in force on Commons since December 2024 following THJ v Sheridan (see COM:TOO UK). The file is already transferred to Commons, however (has been since 27 December), and so I would support deletion here per F8. Note my listing on requests for undeletion to undelete the revisions for transfer to Commons. Coleisforeditor (talk) 13:05, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
    I looked at the rule changes on Commons, the discussion and the cases: none of them mention anything beyond fonts and simple geometric shapes. Not only is this a rather complex geometric shape, but it's also made up of four colors. These colors, when intersected, create four more colors. Please suggest other DRs where similar logos would be kept. — Ирука13 09:20, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete per WP:F8. There's really no point, at least in my opinion, of relicensing this as {{PD-ineligible-USonly}} as long as the Commons' file remains {{PD-logo}}; so, I'm inclined to support the local version being deleted per WP:F8. If someone has concerns about c:COM:UK and the Commons' file, they're going to need to address them on Commons. This can be done informally at c:COM:VPC or formally via c:COM:DR. If the Commons' file ends up being deleted because of the UK's TOO, this local version could always be WP:REFUNDed as "PD-ineligible-USonly". If the Commons' file gets deleted because of the US's and UK's TOO, this could possibly be restored as non-free free (assuming it's NFCC-compliant). Otherwise, once again, there's no reason to keep this as long as the Commons' file continues to exist. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:05, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete per WP:NOTFILESTORAGE since the file is currently unused and seems unlikely to remain so given that its creator most likely was using it on their user page. Just want to point out that the Confederate flag imagery and the uploader's political leanings really should play no part with why the file is being nominated for deletion.
