  1. Star Garnet (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Access to the database would help with hundreds of biographies of American diplomats that I have planned. Star Garnet (talk) 13:29, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

  2. Jeff5102 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Since the British Newspaper Archive stopped it's cooperation with Wikipedia, I am looking for new sources to explore.Regards, Jeff5102 (talk) 09:46, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

@Sp33dyphil:For renewal requests, please email Luis.Pedraza@cengage.com directly asking for an extension of your TWL account. Signing up again will otherwise require a different email address.  Lingzhi  (talk) 11:42, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
  4. Zigzig20s (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am the 297th most active Wikipedian; I'd like to cite articles on Highbeam like I cite articles on JSTOR and other resources. I've noticed that it's a great resource to access journals I can't read at the moment, and it would greatly improve my editing. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 09:14, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
@Zigzig20s: Approved Expect an email shortly with further details.  Lingzhi  (talk) 11:42, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
  5. Neodop (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) My work on Latin American music would benefit a lot from access to resources such as Latin Beat Magazine. Thanks, Neodop (talk) 17:42, 20 March 2017 (UTC)

  6. The C of E (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am a regular contributor to DYK and would like Highbeam to help me with my work on sport, politics and Christianity. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:37, 30 March 2017 (UTC)
@The C of E:For renewal requests, please email Luis.Pedraza@cengage.com directly asking for an extension of your TWL account. Signing up again will otherwise require a different email address.  Lingzhi  (talk) 00:33, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
@Lingzhi: But I have changed my email address so it is different to the one I originally used, therefore I am signing up again and not renewing. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:28, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
@The C of E: Wait a little while and check your email, then, but this is your third (yes third) Highbeam number...  Lingzhi  (talk) 08:56, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
  7. Melonkelon (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am regularly adding citations to articles and fixing citation needed tags. Sometimes I can only find a specific article on HighBeam, and since I don't have a subscription, I can't access the full article. Some of the articles I've improved with sourcing include Backpacker murders, Mary Millar, Patricia Routledge, and The Cosby Show. Thanks, Melonkelon (talk) 08:57, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

  8. seraphimsystem (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email)I edit articles on medieval history and within the Christianity project - there are some peer-reviewed journals on Catholicism available through Highbeam that I can't access through JSTOR. Given the nature of the topic, I am having difficulty finding WP:RS for Catholicism and I think this resource will help me refimprove and verify citations in that area. Seraphimsystem (talk) 20:11, 6 April 2017 (UTC)

  9. Chad1m (talk · contribs · count) I have done an extensive overhaul to the Double Dare (Nickelodeon game show) page and this would help with filling in any gaps on the subject and similar topics that have mostly offline coverage. Thank you! — Chad1m Email Talk Cont. 02:06, 12 April 2017 (UTC)

  14. Coin945 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm not sure if I need to renew, but I feel like I've had Highbeam for a while and I may be drawing to the end of my subscription. I mostly edit articles in the educational entertainment space on Wikipedia, like the popular Carmen Sandiego series. Highbeam has been an incredible help.--Coin945 (talk) 01:30, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
@Coin945: For renewal requests, please email Luis.Pedraza@cengage.com directly asking for an extension of your TWL account. Signing up again will otherwise require a different email address. Nikkimaria (talk) 00:59, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
  15. Jim1138 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I primarily do RCP. I am often unable to verify references as I quickly go over my article count on numerous news sites. I also do some real editing on various articles in fringe, pseudoscience, science, and medicine. The lack of ability to get more than an abstract too often results in me terminating my editing. Jim1138 (talk) 05:26, 6 May 2017 (UTC)

  16. Seraphim System (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Reapplying, it was brought to my attention that my id has changed since I applied, same reasons as above - HighBeam grants access to resources I would like to use to expand, source check and improve articles in Medieval History and Catholicism. Seraphim System (talk) 07:41, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

  17. Skr15081997 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I need this resource for my work on film and politics related articles. A few of my GA's are Twinkle Khanna, Deepak Tijori, Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain and Indian National Congress campaign for Indian general election, 2014. --Skr15081997 (talk) 08:15, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

  18. Diannaa (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Highbeam access comes in handy for my copyvio work. Access has expired. Thanks, — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:02, 30 May 2017 (UTC)

  19. Gene93k (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Asking for a renewal. I use HighBeam access to verify content and assess RS availability. I emailed @cengage.com and they renamed the login in expired state. • Gene93k (talk) 19:22, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
@Gene93k: Can you explain that last sentence? Emailing is how you would usually renew. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:15, 24 June 2017 (UTC)
    • @Nikkimaria: I sent the renewal request email to Luis.Pedraza@cengage.com. The response e-mail from HighBeam customer service said: Subject: "HighBeam Research Username Changed," message: "Your account settings were recently modified. Your login has been changed from <redacted> to expired.<redacted>." The old login ID is clear and the expired login is unchanged otherwise. • Gene93k (talk) 16:18, 24 June 2017 (UTC)
    • Update: @Nikkimaria: HighBeam created a new login at the old email address, and so I'm up and running. • Gene93k (talk) 01:09, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
