Comprehensive edits analysis
XTools Timecard
A sockmaster from Japan who disrupts Asperger's syndrome-related pages.
Targeted areas, pages, themes
- Delinks, removes references, or blanks on their targeted pages.
- Blanking Asperger syndrome-related pages and using a unhelpful edit summary or none. (example/cross-wiki example)
Habitual behavior
- Claims to have Asperger's syndrome.
- They usually edit their talk pages using an all Japanese-language edit summary, complaining about whatever is bothering them. For example, they often write about the Hiroshima Toyo Carp (広島東洋カープ), a Japanese baseball team. They then proceed to blank their talk page, typically one character at a time. (example)
- They also create talk pages with random two-digit numbers (example 1, example 2) or other patent nonsense (example 1, example 2) and then immediately remove it.
- Has created user pages with "女性総理反対" (Japanese: "no to a female prime minister") and gradually make edits, each deleting one kanji, until the pages are blank (permanent link to creation on one account's talk page, entire history of page so that you can see for yourselves)
- Account creations are usually between 00:00 and 10:00 UTC, larger groups on weekends.
- Appears in already global-locked socks' talk pages to demand reversion of global locks of that account (example)
- Requests unblocks in Japanese without using the {{Unblock}} template ("ブロックを解除してください。" or similar, example)
- Occasionally uses sleeper accounts (example 1, example 2)
- Issues death threats against Tetsuya Yamagami. Machine translate suspicious Japanese text (look for characters like "死", which means "death", and "殺", which means "kill") and request revision deletion or G10 speedy deletion as warranted.
- May comment on old sock user page about Asperger's with new socks.
Naming habits
- Usernames are often an anagram for "Asperger's", "aspie", or other similar terms in languages with non-Latin alphabets. Shortened term "アスペ/あすぺ" is also used.
