The Wikipedia Kedah Meetup 1 (the 21st Wikipedia meetups in Malaysia) was the first Wikipedia meetup held in the state of Kedah. This was also the first Malaysia meetup in the year 2019. The meetup was held on:

- Venue: Northern University of Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia

- Categorization in Wikimedia Commons and how we can develop it to cover various sectors in life and from different point of view (time, location, type).
- Database listing and development in Wikidata for research purpose.
- Show how Wikipedia can help an establishment by having it more visible within any random search engine's search result.
- How articles are being properly kept and controlled in Wikipedia.
- Minimum requirement for newbies to contribute to Wikipedia.
- Introduction to the welcoming message (starter kit for new editors).
- Venues to ask for assistance, guidance and help.
- How reference being archived once it is no longer available from the original source which is used in Wikipedia article.
- Small example of editing existing Wikipedia article and add reference to it.
- Future meetups with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student chapter of UUM and Universiti Malaysia Perlis.

Public transport
The university is accessible directly by public bus from Alor Setar bus terminal. Within the university ground, there is university shuttle bus going around the campus passing through many major faculties.

Disability access
The meetup venue is located on the ground floor with easy wheelchair access, equipped with toilet on the same floor. It is a staircase-type hall with chairs available on the lowest ground floor.
