What's the occasion? Well, we can't let the folks up in Seattle have all of the fun. Oh yes, Jimbo "Don't call me God-king" Wales will be in town.
Details, directions are at the Pint2 Webpage. Please contact llywrch first if you plan on coming (we need a headcount).
And if you can't make it Wednesday night, some folks from Wikia will be having a get-together the next day. Contact Chad Lupkes for more details.
Report
Five Wikipedians managed to make the scene -- six if we count Mark Dilley (he didn't RSVP) -- out of 29 local people who came to meet Jimbo, who arrived with his sister. Eclecticology drove down from Richmond to join us. Other non-Wikipedians attending included Ward Cunningham.
This was more of a social gathering than a meeting to discuss policy, seeing how few of us had ever met before. There was even a brief discussion of the rivalry between Lewis & Clark College and Reed College. We're hoping that this helps to build a base on which we could have future meetups.
