Everyone is cordially invited to attend a Wiknic on the shores of Vacation Isle, San Diego. This will be the 101st meetup in San Diego County.

Meetup details
- Date: Sunday August 6th, 2023
- Start time: 2:00PM PDT / 1400
- End Time: 4:00PM PDT / 1600
- Location: Vacation Isle West: Ideally it will be in this area
The goal of this event is to have an in person social meetup. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages for themselves to consume; and may share with others if they feel comfortable doing so.
Getting there
Vacation Isle, San Diego is located within the center of Mission Bay, northwest of SeaWorld San Diego and south of Pacific Beach, San Diego. Carpooling is recommended. Public transit is possible, however not advised, as the nearest bus stop is 0.4 miles (0.64 km) away, and the route serving the stop has its final run around 9:00PM/2100.
Night time activities
The wiknic will end at 4:00PM/1600, however feel free to stay with us afterwards to join a Bronies bonfire. Sunset is around 7:42PM PDT. More information about this Bronies gathering can be found on this Meetup.com link. For those planning to stay for the bonfire, we cheerfully request that you please bring some combustible material for the evening bonfire. (Locally purchased (for example, grocery store chain) firewood is acceptable.)
In addition, SeaWorld San Diego will be launching fireworks on the evening of the 6th of August, which will be visible from the site of the event.
