Sometimes editors use Wikipedia to display alternate history, of the past based on a divergence point, or future history. This is not a permitted use of Wikipedia. Files displaying or presenting alternate history are subject to deletion, whether they are in draft space, user sandboxes, other user files, or any other namespace. There are several policies and guidelines that apply, such as Wikipedia is not a web host, Wikipedia is not for things made up, and the policy against original research. Alternate history may, depending on the circumstances, be: tagged for speedy deletion as G3, hoaxes; U7, excessively unrelated non-draft subpages by non-contributors; or nominated for deletion. If they use the names or images of living persons in a non-factual way, they are biographies of living persons violations. Alternate history pages that do not meet any of the criteria for speedy deletion should be sent to Miscellany for Deletion.

If you want to display alternate history, web storage is cheap, and lots of internet service providers (ISPs) will be happy to host it for you. If your content needs to look like Wikipedia, use one of the many wiki farms out there or host MediaWiki yourself. But in any case, Wikipedia or other projects of the Wikimedia Foundation won't.
