- Split M.R. James into M.R. James and Adaptations of M.R. James. If agreed, I {will} do the split. See discussion at Talk:M._R._James#Split_Adaptations. --86.169.232.53 (talk) 09:18, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
- Split Rootstock into Rootstock (horticulture) and Rootstock (orienteering). If agreed, I cannot do the split. See discussion at Talk:Rootstock#Orienteering. Jaredroach (talk) 17:45, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
Not done Section moved to Landmark#Natural instead. Felix QW (talk) 12:03, 3 December 2023 (UTC)
- Split List of professional sportspeople convicted into crimes into List of professional sportspeople convicted of crimes and List of professional baseball players convicted of crimes. The baseball section is certainly large enough to make its own page (and I've got several more articles bookmarked so as to expand it) and this article is already above the size at which it should "almost certainly should be divided" per Wikipedia:SIZESPLIT. I'm sure several of these sections could be big enough to become their own standalone articles if given a bit more attention. My only concern, however, is whether these sections would be notable enough as standalone articles. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 23:39, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
- Discussion taking place at Talk:List_of_professional_sportspeople_convicted_of_crimes#Splitting_proposal. Felix QW (talk) 21:10, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Split Mollusca into Mollusca and Hypothetical ancestral mollusc. I believe that the section of the page Mollusca describing the "HAM" warrants its own article, as it goes into detail about the concept of the "HAM" and its description. The "HAM" is not necessarily a vital subject for an article about mollusca in general, and I believe it should be its own subject. If agreed, I cannot do the split. See discussion at Talk:Mollusca#Proposed split. Di (they-them) (talk) 20:58, 25 September 2022 (UTC)
- Split List of Station 19 episodes into List of Station 19 episodes, Station 19 (season 2), Station 19 (season 3), Station 19 (season 4), Station 19 (season 5), Station 19 (season 6), overwriting redirects. Drafts have been created. See discussion at Talk:List of Station 19 episodes#Splitting proposal. Pallettown (talk) 21:59, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
- Consensus to split; Station 19 (season 2), Station 19 (season 3), and Station 19 (season 4) are in mainspace. Station 19 (season 5) and Station 19 (season 6) are being drafted. Pallettown (talk) 00:49, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
Done Pallettown (talk) 01:55, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
- Consensus to split; Station 19 (season 2), Station 19 (season 3), and Station 19 (season 4) are in mainspace. Station 19 (season 5) and Station 19 (season 6) are being drafted. Pallettown (talk) 00:49, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- Split Metroid Dread into Metroid Dread (cancelled video game) and Metroid Dread (2021 video game). If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Metroid Dread#Proposed split. LucianoTheWindowsFan (talk) 18:27, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Opened discussion at Talk:Metroid Dread#Proposed split. Felix QW (talk) 19:47, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Abreha and Atsbeha into Abreha wa-Atsbeha (Aksumite Rulers) and Abreha wa-Atsbeha (church). This article about the possibly fictional twin rulers contains a handful of information about the church named in their honor. I propose that the section about the church should be split into two separate ones: one about the rulers (in this case, the original article without the section "Church of Abreha wa-Atsbeha") and a separate one focusing more on the church (the section "Church of Abreha wa-Atsbeha"). If agreed, I will do the split. See the discussion at Talk:Abreha and Atsbeha#Proposed Split. -IntellectuallyOlder(Alt. Account) (talk) 19:01, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
- Split Patentable subject matter into Patentable subject matter with a small section about USA (I will write it, please leave there only the first two paragraphs) and [[Patentable subject matter in the USA], where the current text in the "United States" section will go. I will expand it later. If agreed, I {will} {cannot} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Original article#Proposed split. Walter Tau (talk) 17:57, 8 May 2023 (UTC)

- Splitting conflict about windows 10, version 21H1 from windows 10 version history. According to special:history/windows 10, version 21H1, Y would my edits be reverted? Such consensus has been discussed since 2016 like this one and this one as well. Such discussions have resulted in AfD debates: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Windows 10 version history, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Windows 10 (original_release), Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Windows 10 version 21H1 and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Windows 11, version 22H2. Last but not least, if we have pages like windows 10, version 1511, windows 10, version 1703, windows 10, version 1709, windows 10, version 1803, windows 10, version 1909, windows 10, version 20H2 and etc., then Y would any user bother undoing such modifications to convert windows 10, version 21H1 from a redirect to a page? Consider having my revisions restored?197.240.204.1 (talk) 02:44, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
Already done by awesome Aasim and other anonymous users over a month ago.197.14.66.123 (talk) 05:32, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- Split Multiplicity (psychology) into Multiplicity (psychology) and Multiplicity (subculture). I believe the topic of the article has become too unfocused due to the discussion surrounding the modern subculture ,hence the split. Multiplicity (psychology) should be used for the concept of Multiplicity within the context of pyschology and psychiatry whereas Multiplicity (subculture) be used for the subculture and community. . If agreed, I {will} do the split. See discussion at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Multiplicity_(psychology)#Request_to_split_pages Kuia34
- Split List of highest scores in figure skating into List of highest scores in figure skating and List of miscellaneous records in figure skating. This second article already exists in the existing article as its own section but it is updated and referenced frequently and doesn't contain any scores. If agreed, I can do the split. See discussion at Talk:List of highest scores in figure skating#Proposed split. DoctorTamago (talk) 07:09, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- WikiProject Figure Skating has been informed to garner more input. Felix QW (talk) 10:24, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Split Christian Science into Christian Science and History of the Christian Science movement. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Christian Science#Splitting proposal. Shuri42 (talk) 16:00, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
- Split Yellow Swans#Discography into Yellow Swans and Yellow Swans Discography. If agreed, I {cannot} do the split. However, I already created a full draft for the proposed split, see: Draft: Yellow Swans Discography. See discussion at Talk:Yellow Swans#Discography. I wanna be clear that the reason I think the split is necessary is that this band has over sixty different releases, most of them released under an alias, which makes it incredibly hard to organize it all in a small section, or at least organize it in a readeable way. scapegoat (talk) 21:41, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Discussion at talk:Yellow Swans#Split proposal since there is already a different discussion at at Talk:Yellow Swans#Discography. Felix QW (talk) 09:18, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Science and technology in the United States into Science in the United States and Technology in the United States. If agreed, I {cannot} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Science and technology in the United States#Should be split up. Mrbeastmodeallday (talk) 09:42, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- Split NF (rapper) into NF (rapper) and NF discography. The artist has 6 studio albums, 2 EPs, a mixtape, and about 25 singles, the majority of which have charted on multiple major country music charts, and several have won music awards. Due to the extensive nature of the discography, it would help de-clutter the original article to split it. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:NF (rapper)#Proposed split. HungryHighway -- (talk) 03:46, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
- Split Funimation into Crunchyroll, LLC and Funimation (Service). If agreed, I want to do the split. See discussion at Talk:Funimation#Proposed split. Kevin Talk 08:24, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- Split Kinder House and Ewelme Cottage into Kinder House and Ewelme Cottage. If agreed, I {cannot} do the split. These are two distinct houses with different histories, that happen to be on the same street. See discussion at Talk:Kinder House and Ewelme Cottage#Proposed split. Prosperosity (talk) 07:13, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
- Split 2023 Nigerian general election into 2023 Nigerian general election and 2023 Nigerian elections. I have long been against this page split; however, a proponent of the page split has continuously blocked a page move on account of the page not being split while simultaneously refusing to open a page split discussion. Thus I am opening this discussion to finally resolve the issue. If agreed, I may be available to do the split. See discussion at Talk:2023 Nigerian general election#Page split dispute, August 2022. Watercheetah99 (talk) 16:39, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
- Discussion opened at 2023 Nigerian general election#Proposed split. Felix QW (talk) 20:24, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Mobile browser into List of mobile browsers (currently a redirect) and History of mobile browsers, and redirect to Web browser#Mobile browsers. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Mobile browser#Propose splitting into History of mobile browsers and List of mobile browsers. Dylnuge (Talk • Edits) 19:09, 6 November 2022 (UTC)
- Split Destruction Derby into Destruction Derby and Destruction Derby 64. If agreed, I {cannot} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Destruction Derby#Proposed split. Sintlepond (talk) 16:35, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Done Destruction Derby 64 already existed, so it was just a matter of moving content to the right article. Felix QW (talk) 10:52, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Credit union league into Credit union central and Credit union league. They're two different concepts as one is a payment clearing gateway and the other is a trade association. The "Canada" section needs to be moved to credit union central, leaving the US section in the existing article. If agreed, I cannot do the split. See discussion at Talk:Credit union league#Proposed split. 66.102.87.40 (talk) 18:12, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
- Split Prehistoric Iberia#Paleolithic into Paleolithic Iberia, summarizing the original section. I have already created Draft:Paleolithic Iberia by copying the original section contents, improving and expanding them, and have also summarized Prehistoric Iberia#Paleolithic. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Prehistoric Iberia#Splitting Paleolithic Iberia. Irecorsan (talk) 14:41, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Split Integrated Resource Plan into |Integrated Resource Plan (South Africa) and Integrated Resource Plan (energy planning). If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Integrated Resource Plan#Splitting proposal. Phosphoreux (talk) 19:41, 28 July 2022 (UTC)
- I am writing the Integrated resource planning. Once it is reasonably complete, I will start a discussion (on the Talk:Integrated Resource Plan) about renaming of the article in question to reflect its subject. I would prefer that Integrated resource plan (with regular capitalization) will become a redirect. Викидим (talk) 03:10, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Phishing into Phishing and History of phishing. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Phishing#Splitting proposal. Kjerish (talk) 04:32, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
- Split Sport in Sri Lanka into Sport in Sri Lanka and Traditional games of Sri Lanka. If agreed, I have already done most of the groundwork for the split, since I created the draft page Draft:Traditional games of Sri Lanka. See discussion at Talk:Sport in Sri Lanka#Proposed split. GreekApple123 (talk) 22:39, 13 January 2023 (UTC)
- Split Arshad Sharif into Death of Arshad Sharif. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Arshad Sharif#Proposed split. Ainty Painty (talk) 09:58, 30 November 2022 (UTC)
- Split Rochdale Boroughwide Housing into Rochdale Boroughwide Housing and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (currently a redirect to Rochdale Boroughwide Housin. If agreed, I can do the split. See discussion at Talk:Rochdale Boroughwide Housing#Proposed split. BarleyButt (talk) 22:36, 16 November 2022 (UTC)
Done Split into Rochdale Boroughwide Housing and Death of Awaab Ishak as proposed. Felix QW (talk) 21:25, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Anglo-Welsh Cup into Anglo-Welsh Cup and RFU Knockout Cup. If agreed, I will do the split (see Draft:RFU_Knockout_Cup). See discussion at Talk:Anglo-Welsh_Cup#Proposed_Split. RatzaChewy (talk) 20:23, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
- Split Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine into Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine (February), Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine (March), Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine (April) and all the other months... If agreed, I {will} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Timeline of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Prodrummer619 (talk) 17:52, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- Split Gummibär into Gummibär, Gummibär discography and Gummibär and Friends : The Gummy Bear Show. If agreed, I cannot do the split. See discussion at Talk:Gummibär#Splitting_proposal. Manchesterunited1234 (talk) 12:43, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
Done by IAmAnIndividual. Felix QW (talk) 20:05, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split State University of New York Upstate Medical University into State University of New York Upstate Medical University and SUNY Upstate College of Medicine. If agreed, I will do the split. See discussion at Talk:Original article#Proposed split. Jumbotron88 (talk) 18:37, 30 June 2021 (UTC)

- Split Cessationism versus continuationism into Cessationism, Continuationism and Cessationism and Continuationism (Controversy). If agreed, I {will} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Cessationism versus continuationism#Concepts_or_Controversy?. Njsch (talk) 09:25, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Split Flag and coat of arms of Pennsylvania into Flag of Pennsylvania and Coat of arms of Pennsylvania. If agreed, I will do the split. Heraldic and vexillological history/significance differ. 21 other US states whose flags similarly feature their seal/COA currently split their pages in two, Pennsylvania is an outlier. See discussion at Talk:Flag and coat of arms of Pennsylvania#Proposed split. TheTaraStark (talk) 16:00, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
Done TheTaraStark (talk) 18:10, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- Split Reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete into Reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (material) and 2023 United Kingdom reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete scandal. The article in question has grown from a stub about the material in question into being dominated by the recent political scandal regarding its historical use and lack of maintenance within the UK. As a result it feels like it's moving outside its original purpose of documenting the material and its basic factual properties and use to instead also containing current events of politically-charged information such as what a minister said or promised to do or didn't do etc. Therefore I believe it would be better that the content relating to the political scandal aspects be moved to a separate article. If agreed, I will attempt to do the split (haven't done one before but willing to try). Rambling Rambler (talk) 20:02, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
Done, though slightly changed from splitting to separating and renaming. Rambling Rambler (talk) 14:29, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- Split KITT into KITT (Knight Rider) and KARR (Knight Rider) (this is a disambiguation page back to the section in KITT). The KITT article is about a TV show character, but it currently includes a section about a totally separate character from the TV show, KARR. User RJX74 brought up this issue on the Talk page in 2011, but it seems there was no discussion about it at that time. If agreed, I am unable to do the split (never created an article before and don't want to mess it up!). Pompeivsmangvs (talk) 11:56, 16 September 2025 (UTC)

- Split Xbox Game Studios into Microsoft Gaming. Xbox Game Studios, ZeniMax Media, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment, and King all report to the Microsoft Gaming division that covers the company's ventures in video game development, publishing, and distribution. If agreed, I will do the split. One-Winged Devil (talk) 17:50, 13 October 2023 (UTC)
Already done ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 06:34, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Split Apple Watch into Apple Watch and Apple Watch Ultra. With the announcement of the Apple Watch Ultra 2, it is clear that Apple sees the device as a seperate product line similar to the iPhone Pro series. The Ultra line of watches have a specific target market (hiking, trailing, & diving) and have enough distinct hardware and software features that set them apart from standard Apple Watch models even further than typical generational upgrades. TechnicalNewt (talk) 04:21, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
Already done ~/Bunnypranav:<ping> 06:30, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- Split DC Studios into DC Films and DC Studios. As confirmed by CEO James Gunn, in this post on Threads, DC Studios is its own entity separate from DC Films. The Super/Man documentary was the first movie to be released by the studio, and The Penguin was the first show released by the studio. If agreed, I will do the split. ScottSullivan01 (talk) 23:33, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- This proposed split is currently being discussed at Talk:DC Studios#Requested split 5 October 2024. Trailblazer101 (talk) 23:54, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- It appears the nom has removed their proposal and refactored it as a proposed move. This should, as such, be taken as a withdrawn nomination as it has been usurped with a different discussion. Trailblazer101 (talk) 00:42, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

- Split Lingotto into Lingotto (district) referring to the geographical area within Turin, and Lingotto (building), referring to the multipurpose building in Via Nizza, as the two are completely separate topics. The introduction of the article makes it seem as if the article is about both, which is really confusing, specially when it's mostly about the building. Milo8505 (talk) 19:35, 13 May 2023 (UTC)
- Discussion at talk:Lingotto#Split proposal. Felix QW (talk) 10:56, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- Split Styx into Styx river and Styx (deity). These sections describe two separate conepts in Wikidata Styx (Q8843276) (river) and Styx (Q542758) (deity). If agreed, I {cannot} do the split. See discussion at Talk:Styx#Proposed split. Saarik (talk) 20:16, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Split Canadian Pacific Railway into Canadian Pacific Railway and History of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The article size is around 150kb and #History makes up a great deal of the article. It is sufficiently well sourced and large enough to warrant its own page. (Edit: If agreed, I will perform the split) RetroCosmos (talk) 14:58, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
Working Consenus to split into History of the Canadian Pacific Railway. RetroCosmos (talk) 11:56, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
- Split Twitterature into Twitterature and Weird Twitter. The "Weird Twitter" standalone article was merged in 2016, but would by now seem to clearly meet GNG. "Twitterature" is also a bad and mostly unrelated merge destination. (I hope this is the correct page for "un-merge" requests.) If agreed, I cannot do the split. - (DISCUSS) SPLIT ESPN 8: The Ocho (TV programming) should be split off from Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (film), as it is a programming segment on the real ESPN for real sporting events, and not a fictional segment from a fiction film. It is a programming event that has been happening for many years now. -- 67.70.25.80 (talk) 23:02, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
- (DISCUSS) SPLIT 2023 Hawaii wildfires to 2023 Maui wildfires, as it is the most significant fires, and will quickly overwhelm the article, as the most notable instances with the most death and destruction and news coverage.
