- April showers bring May flowers → April shower (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Because of the newly created April Showers Bring May Flowers, this redirect no longer has much use since it’s unlikely that someone would specifically use this capitalization to find the current target so suggesting delete. Thepharoah17 (talk) 23:57, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget to April Showers Bring May Flowers. Why delete? SignTheSign (talk) 00:38, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Keep This seems like the proper capitalization of the phrase. April Showers Bring May Flowers is WP:DIFFCAP to me. With the way the phrase is capitalized, the phrase "April showers bring May flowers" as mentioned at April shower is the overwhelming WP:PTOPIC; although a hatnote on April shower can maybe help fix this issue. Casablanca 🪨(T) 13:56, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Strong keep. April showers bring May flowers is a common saying that is discussed at the current target, which is the primary topic. Hatnotes at both articles are reasonable. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 22:07, 29 October 2025 (UTC)

- Europeans → Ethnic groups in Europe (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Retarget to European people. The term “Europeans” most commonly refers to people who are from or associated with Europe as a whole — a collective demonym rather than a list of distinct ethnicities. The article European people covers this broad cultural, historical, and demographic meaning. By contrast, Ethnic groups in Europe provides a more detailed breakdown of the continent’s individual populations, while Demographics of Europe deals with the overall population statistics. Hassan697 (talk) 21:17, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- This has had several targets over the years and was at one point a dab page. European people is probably best (per nom) or European, which is a dab page that includes links to all of the suggested pages (European people was missing from the dab page and I have added it). —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 21:28, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

- Peso pluma → Featherweight (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Should be retargeted to Peso Pluma (the Mexican singer, in title case). English speakers who type "peso pluma" into the search bar are more likely to be looking for the musician than the Spanish name for a boxing weight class. —pythoncoder (talk | contribs) 20:45, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Retarget to Peso Pluma per nom and tag as {{R from miscapitalisation}}. Peso pluma does mean featherweight in Spanish but there is no special affinity between the language and this boxing weight class. Peso Pluma is one of the most popular singers in Mexico and has had significant Billboard chart and streaming success in the United States and globally, making him a more likely search term on en-wiki. This redirect was created in May 2019. Pageviews show a huge spike in views beginning in 2023, which is around the time the signer's career took off. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 21:59, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

It's not 100% clear why this redirect exists, but it has significant history behind it. Obscure synonym? Appears to be a random word swap as the band was never referred as Alice in Bondage. SignTheSign (talk) 05:57, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like the redirect was made way back in 2007. I'm not sure why, as not once has the band (or even its fans) ever used the name. Xanarki (talk) 15:19, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) Left guide (talk) 03:41, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
self-explanatory... or at least it would be, if the concept was defined at the target beyond the name, and not subject to varying definitions of "total" and "energy" depending on context. was blar'd for merging, but there was nothing actually worth merging, so there's no reason to worry about that part. incoming links also seem to be using it for varying definitions as well, so that's annoying consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 18:39, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think this is a borderline case between WP:RETURNTORED vs. keep as straightforward-ish. I've notified Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Physics, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Energy, and the talk pages of the 13 articles where this redirect is used. —Myceteae🍄🟫(talk) 21:11, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
- Very Strong Keep (Speedy Keep). The reason why there are more than one definition in the article is because there are! They are not really that different, rather connect to context/discipline/application. I read the article Energy and saw nothing wrong except for the "See also" section where someone had incorrectly added some topics related to Wikiproject Energy. There are also many pages that link to Energy which should not, e.g. Andalusia, this is something which WikiProject Energy should cleanup. It is probably appropriate to expand the hat at the top of Energy slightly to try and avoid such errors of fact. This topic has little to do with that project, but is relevant to almost every other science including WP:WikiProject Chemistry, WP:WikiProject Engineering...

- As an addendum, if needed, the term "Total energy" is a reasonable search term and should redirect to Energy as it currently does. There are some others such as "Total Free Energy", "Total Kinetic Energy" which could also be similarly redirected. I cannot see any rationale for a WP:RETURNTORED, a "Total Energy" page would be inappropriate via either or both WP:NOTDICTIONARY & WP:CFORK. I think this is an inappropriate nom, hence my vote of Speedy Keep. Ldm1954 (talk) 02:51, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

- Keep. Most of the incoming links from articles should probably be removed since they imply that readers are getting a dedicated, comprehensive discussion of "total energy" in one place. But "total energy" is discussed throughout the article in multiple places so the redirect is not inappropriate. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 03:52, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
