potentially plausible typi aside, i've found nothing tying this to vomiting aside from one video from an artist who... seems to mostly work on foot fetish and vore stuff. people can be into that, but get this outta here

you know when you see art with a neat style, decide to look into the artist, find that they draw mouths with suspiciously detailed insides and/or feet with suspiciously detailed soles, and then find out that they're into the kind of stuff that would make stink lines in real life? i did that, but skipped step 1 because it was paywalled consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 23:43, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

I don't see any evidence that this person is known as "Ference Varga". Other people with this name include a non-notable musician and a French sculptor. Delete unless someone has an explanation. Duckmather (talk) 23:38, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

Judging by what links to it, this should be deleted. Thepharoah17 (talk) 12:30, 23 April 2026 (UTC)

  • Retarget to Mural, defined as any piece of graphic artwork that is painted or applied directly to a wall... -- Tavix (talk) 15:11, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Retarget to mural, good point and destination. Randy Kryn (talk) 23:17, 23 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete per nom. Oppose retarget to mural; the first thing I thought of was art that hangs on a wall (eg. a framed painting). I2Overcome talk 09:06, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
  • Disambiguate. A web search for 'wall art' overwhelmingly gives results for "flat paintings and photographs that can be purchased to hang on a wall". That concept doesn't seem to be covered by a Wikipedia article (not even a section on Wall or Interior design or Visual art). I could imagine such an article being created in the future, including methods (picture frame, hanging scroll) and common placement considerations. However, I don't think the redirect should be simply deleted to make way for a hypothetical future article, because multiple plausible destinations exist, and because it would be odd to strand the title-case redirect from Wall Art to Peckham Rock with nothing at the lowercase. I created a draft below. Jruderman (talk) 01:08, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
    Wall art may refer to:
    • Any visual artwork that hangs on a wall
    • Mural, art painted on or applied directly to a wall or other permanent surface
    • Wall decal, a vinyl sticker that can be affixed to a wall
    • Wall Art or Peckham Rock, a fake cave painting by Banksy

"Leave military"

The result of the discussion was delete. Elli (talk | contribs) 07:37, 8 May 2026 (UTC)

Uncommon synonyms. Requested at WP:AFC/R and accepted (I guess), but not really good redirects. Delete per WP:RFD#DELETE #8, saying it should be considered for deletion "if the redirect is a novel or very obscure synonym for an article name that is not mentioned in the target". Didn't go as R3 just because I thought this may be a little controversial, considering another editor accepted the request. 🫀 Crash // Organhaver ( it / he | talk to me, maybe? ) 23:02, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep as a harmless and potentially useful {{R from other disambiguation}} (natural rather than parenthetical disambiguation). It is potentially confusing with leaving the military (i.e. discharge (military), but the hatnote I've added to the target takes care of that (and is needed for more than just this specific search term anyway, so it's not costing us anything). Thryduulf (talk) 15:03, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete. Without using "(leave)" as a disambiguator, these redirects are ambiguous since they could refer to literally leaving/quitting the military. Steel1943 (talk) 17:49, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
The hatnote resolves that ambiguity without need for deletion. Thryduulf (talk) 19:52, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
  • Strong delete the target is not about leaving the military ("leave military" (verb)), ie. discharge (general discharge, dishonorable discharge, etc); the target is about "military leave" (noun) -- ~2026-25149-07 (talk) 10:40, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
No need for deletion given the existence of the hatnote which resolves the ambiguity. Thryduulf (talk) 19:52, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
It is pointing to the wrong target in the first place. Military discharge is clearly the proper target for this grammatical ordering. Military leave =/= "leave military" -- ~2026-25149-07 (talk) 22:11, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
That's an argument for retargetting (and possibly swapping the hatnote) not for deletion. Thryduulf (talk) 16:08, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
Thryduulf, you don't need to respond with the same thing twice. We can see it once. 🫀 Crash // Organhaver ( it / he | talk to me, maybe? ) 20:25, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

a term used by writey boy poul anderson in his books, coined by his wife karen anderson, roughly meaning "as or more intelligent than a human, but hopefully not a clanker"

seems to mostly see use in the context of said books or sci-fi in sort of general. sees use in main and talkspace and gets plenty of views, but is unmentioned in the target, and all mentions in mainspace seem to rely on this redirect to explain the term or just use it like a common word, so maybe soft redirect to wikt:sophont? consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 13:29, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

not seeing how it would apply here. the main issue here is the grammar. in fact, that wonk who usually bludgeons rfds (cogsan, i think it was) created uses of computers just before i nommed this. maybe the implication is that it could drive people to think that not pluralizing stuff is cool and good? consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 19:39, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
Not only does PANDORA not apply here, it never applies. It's actively misleading harmful nonsense that is contrary to the fundamental nature of how Wikipedia works that is little more than WP:OTHERSTUFF, WP:IDONTLIKEIT and WP:CRYSTAL. Thryduulf (talk) 15:12, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
  • (edit conflict) Delete. That original pages looks like a school essay from no later than the early 1990s (actually probably earlier) not 2011. If restored it would be speedy deleteable under A3 (and an argument could be made for A1 too) so it's fine to delete it here. Thryduulf (talk) 19:40, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

These are redirects from a species to its genus. The notability guidline for species says that all eukaryotic species that are accepted by taxonomists are presumed notable, so I think these should be deleted to return them to red.
Those who saw my other recent nominations might be wondering why the title of this nomination doesn't have the genus italicized. This is because the markup makes the link to this section from the redirect pages malfunction. Chess enjoyer (talk) 00:39, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
