Delete per WP:UFILM. Target released over 2 years ago, minimal page views. Steel1943 (talk) 23:52, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete. 5 views since 1 November, none of them in 2026. This is what minimal page views actually looks like. Thryduulf (talk) 16:36, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep per WP:UFILM: 92 pageviews last year. J947 ‡ edits 23:56, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete. voorts (talk/contributions) 18:12, 25 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete per the spirit of WP:UFILM. Target released over a year ago, minimal page views. (However, this redirect seems to have history as an article ... but it seems most of it was a copyright violation?) Steel1943 (talk) 22:49, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep. The sprit of UFILM is actually "don't delete redirects until they have ceased to be useful", the page views here indicate that it is likely still useful as the pattern of activity has been consistent since shortly after it was released. The copyright violating material in the history has been revision deleted so is of no concern. Thryduulf (talk) 17:02, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete Since Alone in the Dark is a series, there's a good chance a reader using this search term is looking for a game that is indeed upcoming. --BDD (talk) 19:33, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, CycloneYoris talk! 23:57, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete. I agree with the nom and with BDD. I find the pageviews minimal but I acknowledge this is subjective and this is a bit higher than some cases. The bigger issue here is ambiguity and potential for WP:RSURPRISE. Given that this is a series with a long history and multiple iterations, it is possible that readers are anticipating coverage of some new future game with this title. This is true whether they are searching on-wiki or clicking an old external link. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 20:55, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was retarget to Road House 2 (upcoming film). voorts (talk/contributions) 03:18, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete per WP:UFILM. Target released over a year ago, minimal page views. Steel1943 (talk) 22:19, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep this is very obviously still beign used - it received almost 70 hits since October with far more days getting views than no views. This is not what "minimal" means. Thryduulf (talk) 17:04, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

Nominator comment: Quite frankly, in this case, I'd be okay with "Retarget to Road House 2 (upcoming film)" for now. Steel1943 (talk) 05:43, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Retarget to Road House 2 (upcoming film)" for now. This actually fits the description of "upcoming Road House film" which is the plain language rendering of our in-house disambiguation style. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 21:00, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

  • keep. If it wasn't for the spike in views around 2 January I'd have agreed that this was clearly no longer useful but that spike does exist and it's too soon to say whether it indicated anything meaningful, so now we need to wait another couple of months after this nomination closes to understand whether this is still being meaningfully used (in which case it needs to be kept) or not (in which case it's fine to delete). • Delete, per WP:UFILM keeping this is misleading to readers. The all-time page view graph clearly shows that pageviews have tapered off. I2Overcome talk 10:23, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
Yes, obviously there are fewer users now than there were when the article was at this title, that's indisputable but also completely irrelevant to everything. What matters is whether the redirect is still useful, and I've explained why we cannot know that yet - WP:UFILM is explicit that we don't delete redirects until they are no longer useful, not just when we guess they might no longer be. Thryduulf (talk) 13:05, 21 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Weak delete. Sympathetic to Thryfuulf's point, but I'm not sure a spike that didn't hit double digits is enough to keep a redirect that is otherwise at nearly at 0 hits a day in the 90 days prior to the nom otherwise . There is also no talk of a sequel at this article that might otherwise justify keeping a redirect. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 03:01, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

Nothing at the disambig is spelled like this, and a Google search shows nothing. I don't see why this would be a misspelling, unless it's some sort of alternate transliteration? KyleSirTalksAlot (talk) 14:20, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

Mentioned in Robert Downey Jr.#2020–present: Oppenheimer and expansion, the section includes only a brief two sentence description of the subject of the nominated redirect. The last reference to Michael Loyst was removed there on 2 July 2010 and the source both articles relied on is now dead. Delete as Esmeralda (Disney character) also exists and is more accurate and consistent with naming conventions. Only one article used it, which I removed as unnecessary, so this doesn't need to be replaced anywhere. WinstonDewey (talk) 16:50, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Retarget to Esmeralda_(The_Hunchback_of_Notre-Dame)#Adaptations, just like for the other redirect. Currently, the redirect targets a non-existent section, so that should be fixed. I do agree that this is harmless, accurate, and unambiguous though. Mathguy2718 (talk) 00:08, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

Retarget to Religious views on torture as more useful to readers than a red link: Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity and so it is reasonable that readers looking for information on Christians' views on torture would want to know at least what some Christians think about it. Do not disambiguate. DABs are for ambiguous page titles, not ambiguous ideas. This would require a broad concept article and I'm not sure this is the best title for that article in any event. voorts (talk/contributions) 03:15, 26 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Disambiguate, as this can mean one of several things. Christians have been subject to torture; Christians have used torture (e.g., the Inquisition); Christians have philosophical views on torture in this world and the next. BD2412 T 17:30, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Retarget per above. Just because the information isn't currently there doesn't mean it shouldn't be added. I strongly disagree that this would make a suitable DAB page. I really doubt that "Christianity and torture" is a common way of finding information about Christians being tortured, even if there is more of said information overall, and the same applies to specific examples of Christians torturing others. (Anecdotally, I think turning Judaism and violence into a DAB page listing The Holocaust would seem quite obviously absurd.) — Anonymous 03:17, 21 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep as a well documented former name for the a song on the album. This should maybe be tagged as {{R from song}} and {{R from former name}}; I don't know if those apply since it's not the current name for the song and not a former name for the album. Also, the line Virgil let me down (usually written in sentence case) is a frequently repeated line in the song so this may also qualify as {{R from lyric}}. Anyone searching this is likely looking for information about the specific Kanye West song with this (former) title. Coverage is limited at the target but this aligns with a common practice of redirecting songs to album articles with track listings. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 18:56, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Should we retarget to PCM1, then? I checked PCM (disambiguation) for anything else that might be numbered; the best I could come up with was Pro Cycling Manager, but especially since the first game was only called Cycling Manager, that seems like a stretch. --BDD (talk) 22:26, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete per WP:RETURNTORED. There is now a well known bank actually called Dundee Bank. Not sure if anyone has called this building Dundee Bank in the first place, it's nowhere near Dundee. –DMartin (talk) 06:09, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

The term isn't mentioned in the article and while a search did bring up evidence that it could be a colloquial term for orthocarbonic acid, I couldn't find a reputable enough source to warrant adding it to the article. Suonii180 (talk) 23:56, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

None of those are relevant, "J Man" is not an established nickname for any of those people/characters. What is relevant is who actually has this nickname? For example, there's a character in Envy (2004 film) with this name. -- Tavix (talk) 14:57, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete. The article contains only the most passing of mentions:

Varieties of Wu Chinese, particularly Shanghainese and the mutually unintelligible Wenzhounese, are spoken by a minority of recent Chinese immigrants hailing from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai.[when?][citation needed]

There is virtually no information about this subset of Chinese Americans. Anyone searching this term will be woefully disappointed or, worse, possibly misled into thinking the term is synonymous with the target. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 01:18, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Ally Detroit Center was previously known as Comerica Tower at Detroit Center. "Comerica Tower" now better describes Comerica Bank Tower in Dallas, and this redirect may cause confusion. 42-BRT (talk) 00:08, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

I'm not sure whether it is best to retarget to the Dallas building or disambiguate, given that the building in Detroit was renamed more than 15 years ago. 42-BRT (talk) 00:11, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep. From what I can tell, Comerica Tower generally refers to the building in Detroit, not the building in Dallas. There's also a good chance the Dallas skyscraper will be renamed in the near future, since Comerica has been acquired by another bank. - Eureka Lott 18:43, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
