There's even a collection of poetry named Poems, Peoms and Other Atrocities (Robert Holdstock#Death). These should point at the same target as the capitalization doesn't seem to make a difference in meanings here. I would target them all to President of the United States as primary topic. ArthananWarcraft (talk) 19:06, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
retarget all to President of the United States, as POTUS seems a much more likely target of POTUSA than TPOTUSA band. hatnote can be added if needed. Oreocooke (talk) 21:37, 22 January 2026 (UTC)- @Oreocooke Google results do not support this statement at all. - Well I now see that they did not originally all have the same target so just to be clear, I think all should point to the band. I'm not sure which page you think needs a hatnote; the band page which already has the disambiguator "band" in its title certainly doesn't (see the guideline NOTAMBIG. And the name of the band is plural so the same probably applies to "President of the United States". — Anonymous 23:48, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete. Was creator's only edit as a redirect to Barack Obama. Not really relevant to target. Thepharoah17 (talk) 17:36, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Comment: Islamic apologetics redirects to Kalam. Kalam and Islamic apologetics can be synonymous, but are not straightforward one-to-one synonyms per the definition of kalam in the lead and the description at Kalam § Kalām as apologetics. This suggests Kalam § Sunni kalam schools *might* be a good target. I'm not confident making that call. Otherwise, there's no mention of apologetics or apologist at the current target and no mention of Sunni at Apologetics nor at Kalam § Kalām as apologetics. So, delete unless there's support for Kalam § Sunni kalam schools or some other target. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 20:33, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

- Delete vague misspelling/typo. A search like tansit space ghost may turn up this misspelling but that ignores the fact that transit is a far more common word overall. At the same time, it doesn't seem to be an especially common or likely misspelling or typo for transit so I would not redirect there. In a contest between a relatively common misspelling for an obscure word/name and a relatively uncommon misspelling for a very common word, it it somewhat of a toss up and therefore too vague to guess the intended meaning. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 18:44, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
- Retarget to Space Ghost (TV series)#Space Ghost to align this with Tansut. I anticipated supporting deletion, but after examining this, I think it should probably be retained. This may not be a misspelling—various fan sites use both spellings, and I don't know where we'd look for an authoritative answer. When it comes to usage on Wikipedia, there are only a handful of mentions, but most of them refer to the Space Ghost character. There are a few misspellings of transit, a WP:PTM, and an acronym, but nothing else that would be a proper target. - Eureka Lott 22:12, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Bizarre creation, not mentioned at the target, unlikely search term, delete –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:21, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Also, Drake Drake Maye Maye exists and that was reviewed and marked as reasonable at Talk:Drake Drake Maye Maye. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:35, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- I just saw the other one, and bundled that along with the nomination, and being reviewed doesn't really mean anything. Even if true, it's not mentioned at the target, and no one is going to search for that. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:41, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

- You add the mention first, then you create the redirects, not the other way around. This one shouldn't really be created anyway, because it's longer and redundant to his actual name, which anyone is going to type instead. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:43, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

I might be inclined to delete if the phrase is used by separate denominations listed at Orthodox Church, but if it's just Eastern Orthodoxy, I'd classify this with other benign redirects like Holy Roman Catholic Church. - @Deacon Vorbis, have you tried Googling it with quotes? I'm seeing a rather large number of results that all point to specifically Eastern Orthodoxy to the point where it seems like a well-established endonym. I'm considering changing my vote from weak keep to just keep. Incidentally, when I Googled "holy Catholicism" as a comparison (which overall did not yield the same consistent type of results), I found this statement on a website called The Byzantine Forum:
It is Holy Catholicism, just as the Orthodox believe in Holy Orthodoxy.
This would suggest that the term is common enough that even Catholics are familiar with it. - This is actually a remarkably similar case to the third bullet of WP:R#KEEP:
For example, users who might see the "Keystone State" mentioned somewhere but do not know what that refers to will be able to find out at the Pennsylvania (target) article.
I must trust that our readers posses the mental aptitude to put two and two together and recognize that the terms are synonyms. As for adding a mention at the source, I see that the term is used in the publications of the Orthodox Church in America ([]), the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America ([]), and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America ([]), although I'm not sure if listing such mentions (with citations of course) would be considered original research. — Anonymous 16:44, 22 January 2026 (UTC)- But the Pennsylvania article not only mentions "Keystone State", but goes into specific detail about its use as a nickname (and targets a section of the article that does so). That's a good redirect. The one under discussion doesn't, making it a bad redirect.

Restore and send to AFDbecause I have doubts as to whether the topic is notable or not. In particular, the editor who BLARed the page does not seem to speak Romanian (no activity on rowiki and no babel tag) so it is very possible that he missed some sources. The pre-BLAR article is also a translation of the rowiki article, which has lower notability standards (according to google translate, ro:Proiect:Fotbal/Notabilitate says "In general, football clubs that have evolved into a professional football competition are notable"). For this reason, the author of the article may not have put as much effort into looking for sources as they would have if they needed to pass the WP:GNG. Putting these two factors together, I think that we should send this to AFD so enwiki editors, specifically ones who speak Romanian, have a chance to look for sources. Warudo (talk) 21:28, 23 January 2026 (UTC)- the claim that it was a translation from rowiki is really interesting, because either i caught a case of dumb again, or it's wrong. not only does it seem to never have been a straightforward translation (even in its earliest states, it seems to have been written with it as a sort of model, but not actually straightforwardly translating it), but it seems to also be part of a running gag of its creator and main author moving stuff from draftspace without discussion (twice in this case). that second part doesn't mean much here, it's just funny to note
- either way, i don't think the rowiki article would survive its equivalent of afd either, seeing as it's even more barebones (with only what would be citation 1 here) consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 18:33, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, you have a point.
The claim that the enwiki article is a translation isn't completely wrongIt is, see below 23:25, 27 January 2026 (UTC), if you check the first revision, Special:Diff/1220381156 you'll see that it is a translation of the rowiki article, however for some reason I didn't think to check the revisions that came after. The history section found in later revisions does not exist in the rowiki article. Warudo (talk) 21:22, 27 January 2026 (UTC)- not quite, from the looks of it. as the most obvious exampe, the "record" section doesn't seem to have existed in the same way as in rowiki for a while, even though a direct translation would've included it right away. maybe it'd be better to just ask the creator if it was a translation lol consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 22:16, 27 January 2026 (UTC)
- It turns out I got it backwards. The rowiki article was actually translated from the English article. In particular, this version of the enwiki article, which has the records section in it was translated into this version (check the edit summary). Since the enwiki article came first my notability argument does not hold so I'm changing my !vote to Neutral. Warudo (talk) 23:25, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

not enough in-depth coverage from independent sources to meet WP:GNG

- Restore and ship to AFD as per Joseph, Warudo, and Thryduulf. While there is an argument to be made that the proper thing to do is delete per WP:SNOW, that's only if we're absolutely dead certain that there is nothing of value in the pre-BLAR article. Warudo clearly sees something that might be salvaged here, and if anyone can salvage an article like this, it's AfD. 𝔏𝔲𝔫𝔞𝔪𝔞𝔫𝔫🌙🌙🌙 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔐𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔢𝔰𝔱 (talk) 04:11, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
- i'm gonna do what i'm extremely disappointed hasn't been done yet, and say the following: delete per nom, and as there's nothing worth restoring in the pre-blar content. it was an extremely barebones summary with only two seemingly random matches listed, citation 1 was an equally barebones summary of their results (and nothing else), citation 2 was (seemingly) some short paragraphs about a different team (spartanii sportul, which might itself not survive afd) that lost to them (so i can judge from this capture, but it refuses to load more than 5 paragraphs, so i might be wrong), and citation 3 was about yet another different team (petrocup hînceşti, which might itself only barely not get outright deleted at afd) that wiped the floor with them. none of them would satisfy gng, and would only work on top of an article that already does establish their notability. it also goes without saying that, because the sources don't actually support all of what the article says, that's also an issue. as a sort of aside, citation 1 seems to also be incomplete unless the team really did spend 2020 and most of 2022 and 2023 asleep, so i wouldn't even consider it to be a good inclusion
- research of my own mostly gave me results from fmf.md, which only seems to be compiling their results, so they're not worth much. results from other sources (all 10 of them) were all about stuff they were either tangentially related to, or coincidental due to comments or tags, and entirely unmentioned otherwise
- finally, saying that it might be better off sent to afd because rowiki has different notability criteria is a complete non-sequitur as this isn't rowiki, so i'm honestly not even entirely sure why the argument was made in the first place, especially since it still says nothing about the content itself here beyond an empty hope that someone else will maybe actually have something to say probably. if input can't be guaranteed, why are you even bothering to extend this headache? consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 18:21, 27 January 2026 (UTC)

I'd be bold, but I'm a fairly new user and really wanted to get some input on this first. Tonic Systems is a company that was acquired by Google in 2007, and seems to have produced the majority of their Google Workspace software. However, the current redirect only goes to Google Drive, which doesn't seem like the right place (they had a much heavier hand in creating Google Slides, if we had to pick just one product). The current Google Drive article has no information about Tonic, so I find the redirect quite odd. My two ideas are to either WP:RETURNTORED if I can find enough independent coverage, or at the very least retarget to Google Workspace. Does anyone have any thoughts? JarJarInks٩(◕_◕)۶Tones essay 16:40, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

- Delete. Non notable company, no WP:SIGCOV. It was prodded in 2007 and the redirect was applied instead, but overall I think deleting was the right decision anyway. Remove the history alongside, it's not needed. — Amakuru (talk) 10:14, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete no need to restore and list at AFD because the proposed deletion of the preexisting article remains uncontroversial. In the unlikely event someone asks for restoration of the article content then treat it as deleted due to the original PROD expiring and restore those revisions, but that seems unlikely. The redirect is not navigationally useful so should be deleted. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 17:30, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete. Apparently non-notable defunct company that is not discussed in any detail anywhere. There are brief mentions at Google Slides and Google Drawings and a list entry at List of mergers and acquisitions by Alphabet that does little more than link to the redirect. Readers will be best served by search results which will reveal these scattered references which comprise the totality of coverage on en-wiki. If someone finds suitable sources, content can be added to Google Workspace (or some other target) and this can be re-created in the future. There is consensus here that the pre-PROD content can be deleted and should not be used to add content back to en-wiki. So, there's no value in maintaining the history and the current redirect effectively blocks search results which highlight what little coverage we do have. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 19:10, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Pursuant to a desire or suggestion by 162 etc. to list this title here stemmed from this temporary account request (which has since been removed, hence it being a revision) to eliminate its disambiguator on the count of "see his infobox and his campaign merchandis
ing". Amakuru (whom I'm also pinging in here) contested it with other same-titled disambiguated entries, igniting the possibility of ambiguity for in connection to the full name Samuel Shapiro (which already houses a DAB page). 162 etc. incorrectly stated that this title was created as a redirect to the Illinois politician; rather/instead, the politician's title was DABbed from this title precisely on 23 May 2005 per the page history and remained unchallenged prior that TA request. When pressed by Amakuru as to the rationale for reverting my retargeting of this title to the fully name DAB page, 162 etc. insisted that this title should be brought over here before. So now that it's here, tell us the rationale and why the reversion? Intrisit (talk) 09:09, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Retarget to Samuel Shapiro. It's already established that there's no primary topic for the name Samuel Shapiro, and there's also no particular evidence I could see that the Illinois senator is the primary topic for the shorter Sam form. All of the entries on the disambiguation page are sometimes, but not predominantly, called Sam, hence that diminutive form lacks a primary topic much as the longer form does. This should have been Uncontroversial, I don't really know why the earlier bold retargeting was reverted. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 09:59, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Improper use of "Draft:" namespace per WP:RDRAFT since the redirect was never an article. (Note: The equivalent in the article space, Golden Age of Cinema, does not exist and has never existed.) Steel1943 (talk) 06:00, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Comment these direct creations of redirects in draft space are almost always malformed/misplaced requests to create the redirect in main by people who have not been informed of the proper procedure. Sometimes they are moved to main if though likely to be retained at RFD, just as if they had been listed at WP:AFC/R. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 17:38, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Not the title of the series, and not mentioned at the target, leaving the connection unclear –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 04:42, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete string does not appear at the target. No evidence it is an alternative name. Both confusing and navigationally useless. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 04:47, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Keep the title card for series 5 uses the name "Emily in Rome" on the programme. As do multiple other sources e.g. . A basic search for "Emily in Rome" clearly demonstrates that this name relates wholly to Emily in Paris being set in Rome for that season. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:03, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

- Keep per Joseph2302. I'm mildly surprised this show doesn't have separate articles for each season—if it did that'd be the perfect place for explaining the title card. -- Tavix (talk) 14:43, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- But it doesn't, and it's not mentioned either way, so it should be deleted. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:47, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Given that "Emily in Rome" is attested, the solution to that issue is to add a mention to the target, not to delete the redirect. -- Tavix (talk) 15:11, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- No, the solution is to not create redirects to unmentioned terms with unclear connection to their targets. Redirects follow content, not the other way around. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 16:14, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Does not provide navigational benefit. No page history worth preserving, article content would have been CSD eligible if not for preexisting redirect. In sum leftover page move detritus. Recommend Deletion. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 00:34, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

- Death of Pluto → Pluto#IAU classification (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Confusing and borderline nonsensical redirect that leads to a WP:SURPRISING target. Most likely expected target would be something alluding to Roman Mythology, if anything at all. Not useful as a navigational aid. Recommend Deletion. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 00:31, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Speedy delete, R3, confusing, useless, implausible, etc etc. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 04:43, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Keep. Michael E. Brown "killed Pluto" and this language isn't very far off. Neil deGrasse Tyson used this very term. It's a plausible shortening of an otherwise rather lengthy search term and this is the right target, although #Classification is probably slightly better. Doesn't appear ambiguous with any other encyclopaedic information. J947 ‡ edits 05:01, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Both of those refer to How I Killed Pluto and Why It Had It Coming, but even that target is dubious as the string does not appear there either. ~2026-39780-5 (talk) 05:14, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- An offhand comment on a book jacket blurb review does not justify creation of a redirect, and as mentioned above, it's more about the book than the planet, but it's still not mentioned there. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:27, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- Keep as per J947, it's used by proper professionals to describe the declassification of Pluto. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:05, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- As opposed to sketchy professionals? It's not used in any sort of standard or sustained way, though, and it's not mentioned at the target (or anywhere). –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 14:25, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
