  • Weak delete: while retargeting would be helpful, the redirect was intended to refer to the first Minecraft movie and such a retarget may be unexpected to readers. thetechie@enwiki:~$ she/they | talk | contributions 22:41, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
    In what way? J947edits 23:04, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
I don't see a problem here. We change redirect targets all the time based on the present meaning of the redirect and the present content of relevant articles. And the 'retargeting' being proposed here is really just a refinement to a section of the article about the original film, anyway. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 18:06, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
Retarget to A Minecraft Movie#Sequel, which is currently itself an untitled minecraft film. -Samoht27 (talk) 17:43, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Refine to A Minecraft Movie#Sequel. The content at this target fits the description and this seems to align with typical untitled/upcoming film redirects. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 17:57, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Double redirect from page move that should probably just be deleted as the target article is dynamic. I2Overcome talk 06:49, 1 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep It's a helper redir I made, recently ~renamed to more apt name. I'd just fix the double redir instead of deleting (if it's not misleading or inappropriate in any way). —Mykhal (talk) 10:52, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
I've updated the target above. We don't intentionally do double redirects, though the {{R avoided double redirect}} tag can be used to provide context. --BDD (talk) 21:28, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete, kind of vague, and any redirect that continually goes out of date is inappropriate anyway. Deacon Vorbis (carbon  videos) 02:00, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep A handy way to link to the latest space launch events, as long as it is updated appropriately and promptly when the year or quarter rolls over. It also used to link to an anchor within the page. (I now see there is another redirect Upcoming spaceflight; I like that name better, since it matches the text in the table. I'm OK with deleting this one if that one is kept.) --IanOsgood (talk) 05:25, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete a redirect that needs to be updated at least every 3 months is not useful. Also misleading, since it says "current spaceflight" in singular, which implies it will redirect to article on one currently space flight, not a list article. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:25, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete. I agree with Deacon Vorbis and Joseph2302. This is a burden to maintain. I agree that the name suggests it would be an article about a general description of the current state of spaceflight, or something along those lines, not a list of recent and upcoming launches. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 18:11, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Not mentioned in target article. Is mentioned in List of Netflix original programming, but only as a list entry, which does not adequately identify the subject of the redirect. Delete per WP:REDLINK. Steel1943 (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete unmentioned redirect. The list entry is at List of ended Netflix original programming. Rather than retarget here I would delete per WP:RETURNTORED since the list contains the target article contains virtually no information on the subject. I'm not sure whether or not an article could be written on the show but it's possible. This redirect saw a spike in traffic in 2025. Red links may inspire an attempt at article creation. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 17:46, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

These redirects should share the same target. They currently target the same page but different anchors. I'm also not sure about the placement of the "The Great Meme Reset" anchor in the article. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Great Meme Reset of 2026. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 16:37, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Target Match to Internet meme#The Great Meme Reset; I'd like to point out that the #Contemporary memes anchor goes to the section that the 'Great Meme Reset' is mentioned in, wearas the actual anchor for #The Great Meme Reset -- as well as the actual mention-- are actually in the very last paragraph of the section, meaning that redirecting to the section header (#Contemporary memes) can cause confusion. In addition, it's slightly confusing because said mention is also one of the last things said paragraph talks about, so your eyes don't naturally land on the phrase when you get redirected there; that said, you're at least closer to the mention, so it's a little easier to find it. Target match per Lunamann. Editors may wish to consider a visible anchor for increased prominence since it's still somewhat buried even in the target paragraph. But either way, the specificity of #The Great Meme Reset makes this the better target. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 17:56, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Not mentioned in target article. The redirect has 4 incoming links in the article space, and is mentioned in List of ended Netflix original programming, but none of these identify the subject of the redirect. Not mentioned in target article, not mentioned specifically anywhere else on Wikipedia. Results on Wikipedia for the search term return "Blue Jean Country Queen", Queen of country, and Queen & Country. Third-party search results show that this is a potentially notable television series released on Netflix in 2022 (WP:REDLINK). Without a specific target that is not a partial title match, there are probably not any adequate redirection options since the redirect as phrase could refer to an actual queen of a country. Delete. Several topics could match the term, none of which seem to have articles, and none of which is the clear and obvious primary topic. The Netflix show is primary by a DuckDuckGo search, but is four years enough for long-term significance? Potential matches I found: country queen as in a woman critically acclaimed for singing country music; Country Queen (horse), for which some of the incoming links are intended; Country Queen (episode) [Wikidata] of American Pickers, Country Queen (song) by Priyanka (drag queen), and a misspelling of "Country QueensCountry Queens". Not mention in target article. It seems this title is mentioned in two places on the English Wikipedia: Woodrow Landfair and List of 2022 American television debuts, but as "Chad & JT Go Deep" (which doesn't exist and seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME for the subject of this redirect per third party sources.) and both the aforementioned articles, the subject of this is no more than a list entry. Seems like a "delete per WP:REDLINK". Steel1943 (talk) 16:16, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

Hopelessly ambiguous. This could refer to the process of getting to any World Cup, and Google searches result in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Unmentioned at target. mwwv converseedits 15:11, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete so many tournaments have World Cups with qualification tournaments that could be named 'Road to the World Cup'. The Karting World Championship would not be the intended target for 99+% of readers (not least because that literally doesn't have 'World Cup' in its name). Joseph2302 (talk) 15:23, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
The Karting World Championship article covers the Karting World Cup, which is a secondary competition to it; in fact, most classes in international karting are / have been run as "World Cup"s, only the top three have World Championship status. Road to the World Cup was a promotional competition for it and several of its classes in 2023, suggest moving to Road to the World Cup (karting) and delete the ambiguous redirect. MB2437 17:49, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
A secondary competition still definitely isn't the primary topic for this name though. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:26, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

Ambivalent between delete and retarget to FIFA: Road to World Cup 98, which is a much more likely target than a karting competition, but still probably not the primary topic for this vague string. – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 02:05, 9 January 2026 (UTC)

Redirect from a foreign language title; with minimal page views as well. Vestrian24Bio 13:02, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Three of these are tagged as Telugu, and I assume the others are too. I can't find a good link between Telugu and any of these topics. Padukone and Ramaswamy were both raised in, or by family from, southern India, which, broadly speaking, Telugu is from too. Is any redirect from one of the 22 languages of India to any India-related topic acceptable? That seems like a stretch, even if it's not as slam-dunk as many WP:FORRED cases we come across. --BDD (talk) 15:37, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
    I believe all are Telugu. MB2437 06:05, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
I agree. Simply being an India-related topic is probably not enough to justify redirects from every Indian language. For people, I would think there would need to be an indication that they or their families spoke a particular language and use the script themselves. Vivek Ramaswamy's parents are apparently Tamil Brahmins. I don't know for sure that they don't also use Telugu, but there's no indication that they would, nor that he uses any language other than English. Deepika Padukone apparently performs mostly in Hindi but has appeared in at least one Telugu-language film. She hails from Copenhagen and Bengaluru, a city where Telugu is spoke by about 14% of the population. For food, I would think redirects would only be justified from languages most associated with the dish's origins within India. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 19:33, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete Ok, absent other opinions, I am tentatively comfortable saying we don't want redirects from any Indian language to any Indian topic, that there should at least be some affinity for the specific language involved. --BDD (talk) 19:38, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete, in agreement with BDD. Neither of the people have any clear affinity to Telugu, per my prior comment. I've also reviewed the three dishes—dhokla is from Gujarat where Telugu is spoken by <1% of the population; Manchurian (dish) originated in Mumbai where <2% of the population speaks Telugu; and matar paneer is described as a Northern Indian dish while Telugu is spoken in Southern India. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 00:29, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

The term "bacon flu" doesn't appear anywhere on Wikipedia; a search result would bring up bacon mania (which briefly mentions a decline in bacon sales attributed to the 2009 outbreak but linked inline to the pig disease) and then the article on a Wendy's hamburger, neither of which are really appropriate targets. There's also the implication that one could acquire influenza from infected bacon, which I don't think is true at all. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:33, 8 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Delete. Fairly obscure slang or joking usage that appears to have spiked in 2009 in reference to a specific outbreak but could also be used for swine flu generally. It is valid to use Urban Dictionary, other wiki-unreliable sources, and the rare usage in reliable sources to establish that certain informal usage is unambiguous and sufficiently common "in the wild" to warrant a redirect. I don't find the evidence here convincing. It's simply a feature of the language that "bacon" and "pork" are sometimes substituted for "pig" and "swine". When "bacon flu" is used it is often defined or its meaning is assumed to be obvious. This redirect has just 117 "all-time" pageviews, of which 10 occurred since this RfD listing and are likely a direct result of this discussion. This is all an argument against 'usefulness'. —Myceteae🍄‍🟫 (talk) 18:23, 15 January 2026 (UTC)

Delete to WP:RETURNTORED. I'm not familiar with Biaselli, but he appears prolific, so a number of potential redirect targets exist. In that case, it may be better just to have this as a redlink until someone can show he meets criteria for a standalone article. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 05:03, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
