I would like this redirect to be deleted, because I made a mistake in page move. The primary article was named "Bill C-202, an act to protect Canadian supply management in trade negotiations". I wanted to rename it "Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management)" since it is now an act, not a bill. BUT: I made a mistake in the page move and accidentally kept "An". So now, "Bill C-202, an act to protect Canadian supply management in trade negotiations" is a redirect to "An Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management)", which in turn is a redirect to "Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management)". Can it be fixed so "Bill C-202, an act to protect Canadian supply management in trade negotiations" is a redirect to "Act to amend the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Act (supply management)", and the one in-between ("An Act etc.") is just eliminated? Sorry to be a bother. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 23:14, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

Akatarere is a locality west of Kaeo. The redirect was created to point to a marae but I removed mention of it from the article because the marae is not located in Kaeo. There is mention of the marae else where, as well as mention of a mountain called Te Akatarere but considering these are trivial mentions and primary usage is likely the locality return to red is best here. This can be seen as confusing as these terms are not mentioned or described in either target. Note that "Technicolor Yawn" may refer to a song by The Dumplings (duo). Mathguy2718 (talk) 20:55, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

This could also just refer to the phrase, see wikt:sue me (I just added that to Sue Me (disambiguation)), and maybe this could be just resolved by a {{Wiktionary hatnote}}, though searching for the phrase on the web does not seem to return Apple-related search results. - Retarget to Sue Me (disambiguation) and expand the disambiguation page to cover cases of "So Sue Me". I did do a little digging for more cases of "So Sue Me" just to see, and there are a few more that are Wikipedia-referenced: song from Time on My Hands (John Scofield album), cartoon collection by Sidney Harris (cartoonist), segment from Fox & Friends#Recurring segments, song from The Young Knives ...Are Dead ...And Some, song from C'est la Vie (Polara album), play by Arthur Yorinks (in addition to the ones already above Sosumi, 19.99 (album), and the episode of Snake Tales (TV series)). Just figured I'd leave this here so that if this is closed as retarget, it's less work to expand the disambig page to cover the So Sue Me cases as well. Related to Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2026_July_5#Canada_in_the_Eurovision_Song_Contest_2026 which creator also recommended for deletion due to mistake. North Macedonia did not participate in Eurovision in 2026; redirect is substantively misleading. Grk1011 (talk) 13:46, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
- Retarget to North Macedonia in the Eurovision Song Contest, which explicitly states they did not participate this year but also notes that it was considered and other relevant information. It's a plausible search term given their previous and possible participation, and if (as expected) they do participate next year that will only increase it's plausibility. 2026 Eurovision Song Contest#Other countries does mention North Macedonia but provides much less information so I think it's a less useful target. - Triacontakaidecimal → Base32#base32hex (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Not mentioned at target; comes up in search results but seems to be some sort of citogenesis (see Special:Diff/1181924281)? I don't see how this word makes any sense. 32 would be "duo kai triakonta" in Greek ("triakonta" being 30), but "decimal" is a word derived from Latin (32 in Latin would be "triginta duo", 32nd would be "duo et trigesimus"), and names for numeral bases are usually based on Latin numerals – it seems that base32 has sometimes been called "duotrigesimal", and changing the alphabet used for the 32 digits would not affect that. Even ignoring the blending of Greek and Latin numerals, this name suggests the base is... 30+10? Wherever the 30 comes from, since base32hex adds 22 letters of the alphabet to the 10 decimal digits... 1234qwer1234qwer4 02:32, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
- Retarget to DEC RADIX 50 which is in fact a base-40 encoding. The blend is due to conventions for naming radices (see also for example hexadecimal) In solidarity, PokemonPerson (talk) 16:40, 14 June 2026 (UTC)
- Still no evidence that the name has been used for that (if anything, it has been used for the current target, probably based on its previous inclusion in Wikipedia). Writing 40 has "30+10" is not related to any conventions I'm aware of, and base 40 would just be called quadragesimal. (Also hexadecimal might be more of an exception than a convention (even the article says
Schwartzman (1994) argues that use of sexadecimal may have been avoided because of its suggestive abbreviation to sex
), and it does not contain "kai".) 1234qwer1234qwer4 19:36, 14 June 2026 (UTC)

Delete. The only source for this alternative name for the film are the titles (not the content) of two articles in Deadline Hollywood, and, apart from the link title, the name is not mentioned on the page. Tevildo (talk) 17:25, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
- Keep if a mention is added, delete otherwise there are other sources, e.g. , , , , so a mention might be due, and if it is then this will be a fine redirect, but I'm not familiar with typical practices in this area. Note that there is a film called The Dish but this was released in 2000 and wasn't directed by Spielberg so would not be an appropriate target for either redirect here. Thryduulf (talk) 10:35, 25 June 2026 (UTC)
- We probably have adequate sourcing for the name (although all of those articles post-date the creation of the redirect, only the Deadline Hollywood article is older than it). The name of the recipe is ‘Belgian Faggots’ and suggested pig pluck was the preferred meat although sheep’s pluck or bullocks liver could be used.". For that it cites the Foods of England website, which isn't working currently but is available on the Internet Archive and the same site has a copy of the cited recipe book (as does Project Gutenberg ). Ambiguous, even within the world of liquor (e.g. whisky, bourbon, cognac, etc.). We do not seem to broadly cover liquor aging or statements of aging anywhere; even if it were, this might be ambiguous with other things, such as cheese aging or (even) stating one's age for various purposes. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 14:58, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
- Comment. Based on google searches, whisky is by far the primary topic for the term "age statement" - on the first four pages of results, one in the middle of page two and the second hit on page 3 were about rum, literally every other single result was about Scotch whisky. Our coverage could be a lot better, as we have varying amounts of overlapping content at Whisky, Blended whiskey, Scotch whisky, Single malt whisky, Straight whiskey, Single malt Scotch, American whiskey, Bourbon whiskey, Blended malt whisky and probably more articles too. None of them stand out to me as being an obviously better target than any of the others. Internal search results are terrible, without quotes the results are for articles about statements that happen to mention age (e.g. Switch statement, Thesis statement), articles about ages that happen to mention statements (e.g. Voting age, Stone age) and articles that happen to have one of those words in the title and the other in the body (e.g. New Age travellers, The Statement (2003 film)). With quotes the results are slightly better, in that it puts Scotch whisky at the top, but almost all the hits are specific products or distilleries that mention an age statement in some way. "Age statement" "rum" finds nothing relevant. My first thought is that we would be better served by consolidating all the various mentions into an article at Age statement with a hatnote to any content we have about other uses, if such content exists (I've not found it). Thryduulf (talk) 15:44, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
- Keep. Age statements are primarily associated with whisky. They are sometimes used in other contexts (e.g. brandy), but generally with the same definition – i.e. the minimum amount of barrel ageing applied to the spirits in the bottle. The whisky article says this. Readers interested in other topics such as brandy will still find the definition helpful for other spirits, and I can't think of a better place to lead them. See the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, title 27 section 5.74, which provides a definition. — BarrelProof (talk) 20:19, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
- Comment - There may be enough extant referencing about this topic to warrant a stand-alone article. However, I am not able to look into potentially taking up the task until next month or perhaps even beyond that. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 13:00, 4 July 2026 (UTC)

- T:DSA → Template:Contentious topics/alert (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
There is consensus against creating new "T:" pseudo-namespace redirects. That consensus only applies prospectively, but I believe this shortcut is should be deleted for two reasons:
- It is surprising to go from "T:DSA" to a contentious topic alert.
- Most importantly, this redirect is harmful to readers. T:DS is a redirect to the mainspace article Thief: Deadly Shadows. Readers searching for T:DS will see this in the search results, and the reader comes first.

- Freedom250 → United States Semiquincentennial (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Let's discuss whether this should instead target Freedom 250. User:Randy Kryn seems to make either the point that "Freedom250" with the space omitted refers to America 250 or argue that the existence of the spaced version frees up the unspaced version to redirect to America250 (which is supposed to omit the space, unlike Freedom 250). I find the former argument unfounded and the latter confusing, and I note that the (second?) biggest controversy with Freedom 250 is their alleged efforts to confuse themself with America250. In solidarity, Aaron Liu (talk) 00:45, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
- Keep the redirect to the event. Aaron, the only reason I redirected this in early June was that the name 'Freedom 250' was being used as one of the real names of the 250th anniversary. Not related to the name 'America 250', which had nothing to do with my thought process. Then editors recently argue that 'Freedom 250' means only the organization and not the event (think of it kind of like "please xerox this" is understood by almost every North American). Even if that holds up, 'Freedom250', without the space, is not the name of the organization. It, and in my opinion, 'Freedom 250' as well but that's being discussed elsewhere, should redirect to what most readers are searching for when they type the name into the search box. Randy Kryn (talk) 01:43, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
- You have repeated several times that Freedom 250/Freedom250 is the name of the anniversary. I have not seen you provide a source for this, and all the sources I've seen (including , which I've provided) say it's not the name of the anniversary but that of the task force. In solidarity, Aaron Liu (talk) 14:46, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
- I said it's a common name. Do you seriously think that readers typing in 'Freeedom 250' after seeing that name in connection with the 250th anniversary are actually looking for a commission and not the 250th anniversary of the United States? WP:COMMONSENSE seems appropriate here. Randy Kryn (talk) 15:00, 5 July 2026 (UTC)

- Retarget to Freedom 250. Whether or not United States Semiquincentennial is the WP:PTOPIC for Freedom 250 should be determined in a page move. This alsost feel like the WP:WRONGVENUE other than that the page does not currently target Freedom 250, unless there is an argument made that WP:SMALLDETAILS is relevant here. If Freedom 250 is moved to somewhere like Freedom 250 (commission) and made a redirect targeting United States Semiquincentennial, then Freedom250 should also target United States Semiquincentennial. I do not have a particularly strong opinion on whether or not the page should be moved, just that in its current form this would be confusing to the reader if not retargeted. Casablanca 🪨(T) 18:52, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
