- Delete I would assume this relates to "Salmon bake", which we don't have an article about but which gets no shortage of google hits. However "Salmon bakey" does indeed get 0 hits. The only use of "bakey" as a term for food I can find is in the phrase "wikt:wakey wakey eggs and bakey" or just "eggs and bakey" where it unambiguously means bacon. I hope I don't need to explicitly cite that salmon is not bacon. Thryduulf (talk) 00:23, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

strange case, yet again. results were torn between literal coffee mills (not even necessarily ones deemed to be FROM THE HELL or something of the sort), gatling guns in general (coincidentally, all of those seemed to be from different sources quoting a single passage from the same book that teased its presence in a civil war, and nothing else), and the "union repeating gun" (whatever that is). i've found nothing actually tying them to machine guns, or more than one that provides a coherent, non-clickbaity reference to the name consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 18:31, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- oh hey, this is the part where i almost immediately out myself as dumb of ass, because i did find the union repeating gun!! it's the agar gun, which its article refers to as looking like a coffee mill (which doesn't automatically warrant those redirects, but does warrant coffee mill gun), and there's an explicit mention of it being referred to as "devil's coffee mill"... in its german article. in the infobox. without a source. this doesn't actually change much of the rationale, since there's still no usable source for it, but it's a neat little tidbit
- it also means that i have no idea what sources using the term to refer to gatling guns are talking about if they're describing this machine gun, so i'm sure that gave some gun pedant somewhere a cardiac heart attack consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 18:49, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
- Yep, Agar gun is a better target. All the best: Rich Farmbrough 10:14, 16 April 2026 (UTC).
- i still disagree per that addition, since the one mentioned isn't in enwiki, and doesn't have a source. people looking for this and not finding the term or its origin will have to do detective work for it consarn (talck) (contirbuton s) 11:58, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

- @Tavix I will take this into consideration in the future. I am sure it will be deleted next week. Kingsmasher678 (talk) 18:01, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
- For the record, although I often close discussions as no consensus in lieu of a second relist, here I left it open since there was minimal participation and I thought there was a good chance of that relist producing a consensus. Unfortunately, the nominator not explicitly recommending any action precluded that from happening. J947 ‡ edits 23:26, 7 May 2026 (UTC)

- Operation Epstein Fury was retargeted not kept. See Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2026 March 29#Operation Epstein Fury. Retargeting this redirect to the same target may work in that I don't think it would be a surprising destination, but this particular variation isn't explicitly mentioned at the target so others might disagree. – Scyrme (talk) 02:22, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- The terms to describe this war are infinite, if Operation Epstein Fury was kept then fine, I'll accept that redirect. But this idea of keeping infinite made-up terminologies and having them redirect to Iran war-related articles would be too overwhelming. HarvardJock🏫 (talk) 21:25, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- Delete - lack of context, totally arbitrary made up term, and per notability standards it doesn't even warrant it's own redirect page. No matter what you think of the war, sensationalized titles like this are unencylopedic and if accepted, anyone could make up any dissident-style term to describe a major conflict like this and it would have to be added. Gymnasium is a DAB page. I'd instantly retarget it there if it weren't for the fact that 28 articles use this redirect as a wikilink, seemingly all in the "gym" sense rather than the scholastic sense. 𝔅𝔦𝔰-𝔖𝔢𝔯𝔧𝔢𝔱𝔞? 20:00, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
- Retarget to Gymnasium as {{R from plural}} per WP:PLURALPT but consider an RM to move the dab page to Gymnasium (disambiguation) and make Gymnasium a primary redirect to Gym. I'm frankly surprised that Gym is not the primary topic for Gymnasium. However, the dab page appears to have been stably at that title for some two decades and WikiNav shows that Gym is only the third most popular destination readers navigate to from the dab page. Pageviews shows that the school is the most popular topic. These findings are suggestive that the term is ambiguous and there is no reason to suspect that the plural indicates a different primary topic here. Although this redirect is nearly as old as the dab page and its usage in articles is noteworthy. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 00:16, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

- What are you referring to by "that page"? Surely you're not implying that Lincoln (name) would redirect to the president (which would be nonsense regardless of primary topic). Lincoln doesn't have a primary topic because it's competing with things like Lincoln, England, Lincoln, Nebraska and Lincoln Motor Company but none of those are people. -- Tavix (talk) 20:29, 5 May 2026 (UTC)

- No, Lincoln (name) is clearly referring to a name, not a biography. A redirect with the disambiguator "(name)" should never target a biography. That has nothing to with primary topics. -- Tavix (talk) 22:38, 5 May 2026 (UTC)

- Keep per Tavix. Moreover, "Mr. Lincoln" has a particularly strong primary topic. See Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Young Mr. Lincoln, and Rosa 'Mister Lincoln'. Few people in history, perhaps no one, have been referred by "Mr. [surname]" as prominently as him. One caveat: "Mr Lincoln" rather than "Mr. Lincoln" is typically British style (see Full stop). So there's a weak but real argument in that sense that given English actor Andrew Lincoln, there's sufficient ambiguity for Mr Lincoln but not for Mr. Lincoln (which therefore shouldn't be bundled). - I've unbundled it, given J947's comment above, although I disagree. If this closes as 'keep', Mr. LincolnMr. Lincoln should also be kept. - Weak keep. It's a little unusual but overall I am persuaded by Tavix's and J947's reasoning. WikiNav provides some additional support for this. From Lincoln, the #1 destination is Lincoln (film) (about the US president), followed by Lincoln, England, and then Abraham Lincoln. The #5 destination is Lincoln (name). No other person is among the top 10 destinations, but USS Abraham Lincoln makes an appearance. From Lincoln (name), Lincoln, England is actually the top destination, followed by Abraham Lincoln. The WikiNav results are not overwhelming but I agree with statements above that the vast majority of folks looking for the president are not likely to land on the '(name)' page first. "All-time" massviews shows a substantial lead for Abraham Lincoln. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 01:06, 6 May 2026 (UTC)

The current redirect is just blatantly false. Rayo's number has an article, but is debatably not well defined. TREE(3) and SSCG(3) don't have their own articles but are talked about in depth in the articles for their respective functions. I would personally think of that as counting as an "entry". There are probably more examples to be found that don't have either of these issues. --Bumpf said this! ooh clicky clicky! [insert witty meta-text on wiki-sigs here] 03:32, 5 May 2026 (UTC)

- Delete. This isn't the title of a topic or a related term; it's a search query. Since redirects are manually maintained by editors, this redirect essentially demands that editors behave like a human-powered search engine to find the answer and update the target if the answer changes. That's neither practical nor appropriate. Redirects are not intended to be used as a substitute for a search engine. Admittedly, Wikipedia's internal search engine isn't likely to be good for answering this particular query because an article is unlikely to include a line saying "this is the largest integer with a Wikpedia entry", but other search engines exist that can answer queries like this about Wikipedia. – Scyrme (talk) 05:25, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
- Delete for lack of a good target. We have an article about a sort-of related concept, interesting number paradox. The redirect The smallest positive integer that does not have an entry on Wikipedia that points there was kept at RfD in 2017 (Template:Integers suggests that number is presently 317). However the smallest positive integer without an article is something that has an easy to define definitive answer (even if that answer is not constant), the "largest integer" is both equally fluid and harder to define as the present target makes clear. It is something reliable sources could conceivably write about, in which case a referenced article or mention might be due, and this redirect could target that - however I haven't found any evidence they actually have done so, making the dueness question moot. - Comment - The traffic stats show reasonably regular, albeit low, traffic before 2021 until an unusual spike in August of that year. Since then the traffic has been more sparse (essentially negligible background noise). Perhaps this was previously linked somewhere until August, 2021? I'm not sure what to make of this. The risk of breaking incoming links (included from external sources) is a reason to keep (WP:RKEEP#4), however the very sparse traffic since 2021 suggests that maybe any issues with incoming links were already addressed by someone at some point. It's difficult to check for external usage as major search engines ignore diacritics. – Scyrme (talk) 20:22, 28 April 2026 (UTC)

- Well, but then why there's no Maurice Réné Fréchét, Réné Magritté, etc.? A misspeller would misspell "René" with redundant acutes, but not other "e"s in their names? A misspeller would double accents in "René", but not in "Fréchet" or "Lévesque"? You see how arbitrary it is? And what about women with "Renée" name? Why should we overlook them? Durament (talk) 19:07, 30 April 2026 (UTC)
- Comment - After reconsidering, I searched more and came across a Wiktionary entry "Réné" with two accutes as a standard Norman spelling of the name. I'd be persuaded of the necessity of this redirect, if that's legit, since Norman is a genuine language in France and the region is close to England, it’s plausible that a Norman speaker searching in English might write it that way. But, unfortunately, I couldn't find any source connecting this spelling to Norman language orthography. Durament (talk) 22:50, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

- Comment - The section existed when the redirect was created (July, 2018) but was deleted in revision 962666340 (June, 2020) with the edit summary:
Outdated and not significant to the topic
. The section discussed a single incident in 2011. The plural "oil spills" suggests the reader would be looking for an article covering multiple incidents or a list article. Several articles for oil spills in particular countries exist (Category:Oil spills by country), but none exists for Brazil. List of oil spills lists a few spills in Brazil, but the list there is, for the most part, not organised by country, so I'm not sure it would be an appropriate target. Category:Oil spills in Brazil lists articles for several spills, so perhaps a list would be viable if someone volunteers to make one? – Scyrme (talk) 23:32, 27 April 2026 (UTC)

- Retarget to Environmental issues in Brazil. Mentions the subject and wouldn't be a surprising destination. Ideally there'd be more there, but I added a little borrowed material from an article about a major 2019 spill to make it just a bit more informative. Should be a viable target now. Any readers seeking more information about the spills mentioned can click through to their articles. It's better than a list than isn't focused specifically on Brazil (which searching "
in Brazil
" implies the reader wants) or a cross-namespace redirect to a category, and is certainly more informative than deletion. This target would be an appropriate place to add further information, and the redirect may encourage relevant additions. – Scyrme (talk) 01:23, 5 May 2026 (UTC) - Retarget or listify. A list would probably be first choice in the absence of a dedicated article, but in the absence of such a list the Environmental issues is the best option we have and, per Scryme, better than the other alternatives suggested.
