Would like to use when I get my computer back, will use to do edits that if done manually would be tedious. Beta Beta Beta - talk 22:06, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
- Beta Beta Beta, can you give us any more specific examples? In solidarity, asilvering (talk) 22:19, 16 July 2026 (UTC)
- To provide one example, simple copy editing would be far easier with AWB than having to look through the page for the possibility of a slip-up. Beta Beta Beta - talk 22:39, 16 July 2026 (UTC)

Hi, I'm requesting AWB access to help out at WP:WCW, which I recently stumbled upon. Thank you! InfernoHues (talk) 18:27, 23 July 2026 (UTC)

Requesting to have an access to JWB to perform routine maintenance, formatting, and categorization across articles within WP:KO and WP:VB. This script would be a great help for non-controversial repetitive task and save more time so I can focus on more important things. ꕥ 𝙳.𝟷𝟾𝚝𝚑 ꕥ →𝙼𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚊𝚐𝚎 𝚖𝚎← 22:15, 23 July 2026 (UTC)

Had previously been granted here, but my "soft vanishing" removed it. The vanish erroniously didn't actually revoke account access and I have come back and been allowed to repursue perms since in good standing per WP:AN#Restoring_user_rights_for_unvanished_editors — IVORK Talk 08:11, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

I usually do name updates, so I need to have this to make it easier on myself and others. HalfOfAnOrange (talk) 14:37, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

I want to automate creation of a bunch of redirects for sports seasons, like 2014–15 Swedish Hockey League season. Шахматист2025 (talk) 00:09, 27 July 2026 (UTC)

I've been active on Wikipedia for a little over a month, most of my work pertaining to copy editing and counter-vandalism. In doing these activities, I've had the opportunity to observe both articles containing formatting or stylistic flaws and the edits that introduced them. After seeing these flaws appear so frequently, I was encouraged to work on fixing as much of them as I could. However, doing so manually is incredibly tedious and would take time out of other activities that were arguably more important, such as fighting vandalism and writing articles. I knew that certain tools existed to remedy this very issue, but one of the most powerful such tools required permission to use. Because of these considerations, I'd like to request the ability to use AutoWikiBrowser. Salmon of Knowledge (talk) 01:21, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
