Specifically, this IP has been used to edit articles related to post 2010 major weather events, which appear to be in good faith, but seems trivial and not necessary to add in the articles, as pointed out on WP:LTA/Andrew5. It is also noteworthy that there is not a magical force field keeping Andrew in Delaware (possible WP:Eight-millionth topic pool entry?) so he could easily take Acela to much of the Northeast United States on any day of the week. Yup, there are two massive /16 ranges allocated to UDel that are blocked, one globally and the other locally.

I'm not convinced. I don't see much on the ranges, and I think geoloc is a bit misleading here since most temp accounts editing this page are going to be from New York. I had a sneaking suspicion it was an impersonator. I just wanted to double check. Still believe that the two usernames I listed are at the very least connected to each other, and have exhibited behavior very much consistent with A5. Looks like they’re both blocked now (the latter globally), but I think they should be mentioned since they’re probably relavant to the other A5 sock investigations. If the vandalism is severe enough (e.g. grossly defamatory insults on a BLP) some admins will block with one or even zero warnings. Most accounts with offensive usernames are also blocked on sight. SuperPianoMan9167 (talk) 01:15, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
