Template creates a convenience link for the indicated ship type (FPSO), but while it is used multiple times on a single article, the related articles are all redlinked (indicating that this template is not currently necessary). Recommend current uses be replaced with a {{ship}} call to keep formatting. Primefac (talk) 13:48, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Delete - Template is only used on one page and has no documentation to speak of. Both are strong indicators to delete. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 02:39, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was soft delete. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Editors can request the template's undeletion. Primefac (talk) 11:47, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Purposeless and unclear. Was used only on two stub articles, duplicating information fully in the main text. All sister articles from these stubs, including well developed ones, were not using it. Choucas0 🐦‍⬛ 19:57, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

Three articles in a sea of redlinks (one of whom is the editor, not the author). Does not meet the recommended threshold at WP:NENAN; WP:WTAF. --woodensuperman 14:48, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

I am confident that this can be improved without deleting the template. Would you be willing to put a temporary hold on your nomination for deletion? If you give me a single week, I can write several articles to make the template more functional. I think this would be a reasonable compromise. Michelangelo1992 (talk) 14:57, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
Deletion nominations take a week to run their course anyway. --woodensuperman 14:59, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
I have now written pages for Vida Cruz-Borja and Afro-Centered Futurisms in Our Speculative Fiction, bringing the total number of usable links to 5. (I'm also working on a 6th). Are you willing to withdraw your nomination for deletion? Michelangelo1992 (talk) 12:46, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
And now I've created Dante Luiz, for a total of 6 usable links. Michelangelo1992 (talk) 18:56, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
Delete per nomination. Not everything needs a navbox. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 04:33, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
Keep, if it wasn't clear from my comments. Nominator cited WP:WTAF which has been done, so this no longer applies. Nominator cited WP:NENAN which presumably referenced the goal of having five articles linked. Again, given my contributions, this no longer applies. The other commenter referenced WP:NENAN without explaining why this template is unneeded; this boils down to WP:PERNOM and WP:IDONTLIKEIT. There is no discussion of why the navbox is not needed or how the essay applies to this particular navbox. In my opinion it is a good navbox because it links related works given the award they have won. (And at least one more article needs to be written, bringing the total to 7; it's just going to take me a few days given the other Wiki stuff I'm working on.) Update: I have added another page, bringing the total number of usable links to 7. Michelangelo1992 (talk) 15:06, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
Only two of the works have articles however, and it is these works that the award is given to. --woodensuperman 14:53, 21 April 2026 (UTC)

Template:Hyperpop

The result of the discussion was no consensus. Some of the issues leading to the nomination seem to be getting dealt with. NPASR if there are still significant concerns with its existence or use. Primefac (talk) 11:43, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

Incoherent navbox that doesn't really seem to have any real inclusion criteria, and is only transcluded on a small number of articles, again seemingly randomly without any attention to WP:BIDIRECTIONALITY. --woodensuperman 14:58, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

Sorry I have no time at the moment to add the navbox to every single page listed. What else is wrong with it so I can fix it? I don't see the point of deleting it entirely. Aradicus (talk) 17:33, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
I removed the artists from the template. There is still a lot of hyperpop related styles for the tag to be useful Aradicus (talk) 09:02, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
It's still rather incoherent. --woodensuperman 11:20, 14 April 2026 (UTC)

Leaning towards delete, though I have no objection to a keep if Aradicus can solve the above issues (which he appears to be doing). Contrary to Zackmann, OR is not one of them. MiasmaEternal☎ 04:18, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

It was created along with Uzbekistan nationality law and hardcodes content for that page (from which I have since removed it). It does not fit the pattern of templates used by other similar pages, which generally have an infobox for the relevant piece of legislation (using a proper generic template). Furthermore, I suspect (based on ) that this is an AI fabrication. Seercat3160 (talk) 01:40, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

The article was recreated, and the current version uses a correctly formatted {{Infobox legislation}} wrapper. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 15:54, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

Template:Temporarily protected

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more templates or modules. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the template's talk page or in a deletion review).

The result of the discussion was delete. Primefac (talk) 11:41, 2 May 2026 (UTC)

It intends to be the opposite of Template:Permanently protected, but it is not in use--the pages linked come from its tranclusion from Template:Protection templates instead. I understand it is intended to be used in non-protected talk pages of temporarily protected pages (like "permanent" does). The key issue is that its use is, unlike the "permanent" one, to be temporary. Once the protection expires, it is supposed to be removed (assuming it has ever be used), but the Template:Protection padlocks work better at explaining edit requests and are also automatically removed when the protection expires.
