• Keep - Navigation box that can be used looking backwards, rather than the current and present that it appears to have been used for, ie unused because the league was absorbed into the tier above.Fleets (talk) 14:09, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
• Delete or rewrite needed - as a current venues template it can be recreated if/when competition is re-established. If keeping for use as a historical rather than current list, it would need expanding to cover all venues, not just those of final season. Edit history shows that originally this template, and the equivalent templates for the Super League and Championship, also listed former venues too, but these were removed in 2017. • Template creator here. I created this for use in the AFC process, since I noticed that many many drafts will remove past decline templates, and it's almost always a sign of a use of generative AI. But because it's a notice, I always substitute this template. I'm unsure if any other AFC reviewers use this template, but I made it with input from the NPP Discord server. guninvalid (talk) 03:24, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
• Keep. But, User:guninvalid, it needs documentation. It looks like a user warning template. If so, you should document it at Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace#Single-level templates and on the template page using Template:Documentation. It looks like that documentation should also include Template:Always substitute, so that other editors do not expect to see transclusions if assessing whether the template is in use. --Bsherr (talk) 20:02, 31 March 2026 (UTC)

  No, it's not a user warning template, though I have seen user warnings for this issue so perhaps it should be. But this template is intended to be used in an AfC comment, e.g. {{AfC comment|1={{subst:rmdecline}} ~~~~}}.
