Template:4th and Long

The result of the discussion was delete. (non-admin closure) Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 22:39, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

Navbox for a series that had its article deleted. If the series is not notable for an article then it's undue to have a navigation template for it. Gonnym (talk) 17:47, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

  • delete, no parent article. Frietjes (talk) 21:19, 12 January 2026 (UTC)

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more templates or modules. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the template's talk page or in a deletion review).

The result of the discussion was keep. Consensus is still to keep this humorous template. (non-admin closure) HurricaneZetaC 01:19, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Nonseniscal template. ~2025-40346-02 (talk) 17:10, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep, per Nyttend's observations in in 2017 and in 2024. Last time around I referred to the TfD that will happen in 2031 - only five years to go now.  — Hex • talk 02:58, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete. Misleading real user block massage lookalike. Gonnym (talk) 09:46, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
Sorry, but who exactly are you saying is going to be mislead by an obvious joke template that talks about time travel, and mislead in what fashion?  — Hex • talk 20:04, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
who exactly are you saying is going to be mislead by an obvious joke template - Anyone who finds this funny. Need to take care of them also. Gonnym (talk) 16:19, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
    Meaning what?  — Hex • talk 16:21, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep; it's obviously a joke, and nobody paying attention will have any difficulty understanding this. Note the template placed with this, {{Humorous}} — we have plenty of humorous pages, and the concept has always been tolerated. Why object to this one in particular? Nyttend (talk) 18:17, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep: Don't be the fun police. There's nothing wrong with having some humorous templates for editors to have some fun with -- stuff like this counts as team-building to me. This has already been kept twice before, I see no reason to change our minds now. MediaKyle (talk) 12:29, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was delete. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 17:13, 23 January 2026 (UTC)

Why are these templates necessary? Do they duplicate Template:Chernihiv Oblast, Template:Cherkasy Oblast, and Template:Kyiv Oblast, which already include links to all hromadas and raions? Hassan697 (talk) 13:19, 11 January 2026 (UTC)

Support these templates are duplicates. Jq talk 💬 contributions 15:53, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
  • delete, duplicate navigation. Frietjes (talk) 21:19, 12 January 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete per nomination. --WikiCleanerMan (talk) 01:56, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
Delete Template:Chernihiv Oblast, Template:Cherkasy Oblast, and Template:Kyiv Oblast; the nominated templates are better duplicates. Szmenderowiecki (talk · contribs) 05:04, 13 January 2026 (UTC)
By better, do you mean without cities and with hromadas grouped by raion? It might be a good idea, but then it should be applied consistently to all oblast templates in Category:Ukraine region (oblast) templates. Hassan697 (talk) 22:19, 13 January 2026 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was No consensus * Pppery * it has begun... 02:56, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

Propose merging Template:Seattle neighborhoods with Template:Seattle neighborhoods.
Per precedent of Tfds on December 21. Main Seattle navbox is capable of listing neighborhoods. Easy enough to include without worrying about navbox size. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 01:22, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

  • Oppose – The neighborhoods navbox is too large on its own and would overwhelm the normal navbox (which is missing quite a few entries, as it is equivalent to a summary box). SounderBruce 01:34, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
  • From what I looked at, the examples linked by WikiCleanerMan all look far smaller. Do we have any examples of cities with this many neighborhoods where a similar merger has occurred? - 01:37, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

Per precedent of Tfds on December 21. Main navbox is capable of listing neighborhoods. Easy enough to include in its own section without worrying about navbox size. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 02:26, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

  • My initial reaction is oppose. Better to leave the main navbox as a general overview and have a separate navbox for the neighborhoods. Having too much clutter in the main navbox would hamper it as a navigational aid. Zeibgeist (talk) 02:59, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
Navboxes are not for a general overview on the subject. Per WP:Navbox: "The article links in a navigation template should be grouped into clusters, by topic, or by era, etc." There is no issue of clutter for main navbox. Having multiple navboxes is plain redundancy and overkill. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 03:03, 4 January 2026 (UTC)
