- Vital 4 article. Most of the article is unsourced. Inconsistent use ComEng and AmEng among others. Warm Regards, Miminity (Talk?) (me contribs) 14:53, 14 August 2026 (UTC)

- This article has potential but needs a major copy edit and copyvio removal. It gets a decent amount of traffic and used to get more. I imagine people stumble upon this article accidentally not knowing what it is. -Wil540 art (talk) 14:26, 7 August 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose, per new consenus. SVcode(Talk) 14:22, 8 August 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose – Non-ideal for new editors, technical and medical related, full coverage would likely involve WP:MEDRS use. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 01:31, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose – Not only MEDRS, but copyvio removal is not a task suitable for newcomers just starting to learn, and a flurry of editing might lead to the copyvio becoming harder to disentangle down the line. Chaotic Enby (in solidarity · talk · contribs) 09:01, 14 August 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose. I would've supported this if AFI wasn't limited to newcomer-friendly tasks, but it seems like we shot ourselves in the leg in making this topic unsuitable for AFI now. Hason-LEK-🇸🇬 ● 💬 ● 🧱 ● 🧪 06:23, 16 August 2026 (UTC)

- With the men's and women's Tour de France recently concluding, I think it would make sense if this Level 4 vital article be expanded. It has a "needs more citations" tag that's there for almost a decade, and the content after the History section could do some expansion. This article also seems good as a newcomer task, given how AFI now has the role of bringing new editors into Wikipedia per the RFC. Hason-LEK-🇸🇬 ● 💬 ● 🧱 ● 🧪 13:57, 16 August 2026 (UTC)
World Chess Championship 1978
World Chess Championship 1978 – (page view stats • edit • talk • history) - 64 daily hits
- High-importance chess article of significant public interest featuring transcendental meditation, controversial yoghurt and black magic, however the story is barely covered in the article. I think the page views are potentially misleading as this would get a lot more attention if the article were better. Stockhausenfan (talk) 15:31, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
