I nominate Guliolopez (talk · contribs · count · logs) to be Editor of the Week for their 200,000 frequent and high quality edits on Ireland-related articles for the past twenty years. I have seen them improve any new articles made within the scope of Wikipedia:WikiProject Ireland. A majority of the wikiproject's drafts (Category:Draft-Class Ireland pages) usually have comments or edits made by Guliolopez. They also frequently copyedit, correct content to match sources, and participate in discussions relating the Wikiproject Ireland. When I first started out, they always left comments and constructive criticism while editing my drafts and new articles. Looking back, I think that really helped me improve my editing skills. I specifically remember them editing my Ambrosetown article (the edits from jan 12 2025-jan 14) to increase it's scope past the WW2 section. I still take inspiration from the content he added to that article in recent articles which I have made about Irish places (like Bastardstown and Tomhaggard). I nominate Akaza (talk · contribs · count · logs) to be Editor of the Week. Akaza is, without a doubt, one of our community's foremost experts in the maritime history of the Great Lakes. As of writing, he has two featured articles, 35 DYK hooks, and 27 Good Articles, all in his area of expertise. His brilliant prose (my favorite is SS D. M. Clemson (1903)) makes articles he writes easily identifiable while being both engaging and informative. Beyond his writing, Akaza's sincerity, politeness, and good conduct help build WP:SHIPS and the English Wikipedia into the collaborative project we all aspire to be apart of. Always an enjoyable editor to work with. This nomination seconded by Vanderwaalforces.

I nominate It is a wonderful world (talk · contribs · count · logs) to be Editor of the Week for being a genuinely helpful guy as a GA mentor. During the June 2026 GA backlog drive, He offered to be my mentor when I asked for one. He's also been a GA mentor to lots of other people, but coming from my experience with him, he is super smart, and was able to catch a lot of things that I missed during reviews. I don't think I would be as confident in reviewing GAs without him, and I'm sure other editors feel this way too. He has also done other things to bring the encyclopedia to a higher quality, especially in Wikiproject swimming, like getting "Swimming at the 2024 Summer Olympics" and "Open water swimming at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships" to good topics. IAWW is a very welcoming person to newcomers, and he should be an EOTW because of it.

Support! I've been consistently impressed when I've seen this editor around, and I've heard even better things about him from other editors. I'll particularly second the mention of his work at good article mentorship — after undergoing a mentorship himself, IIAWW has helped with around two dozen requests, becoming one of the most prolific responders at that venue.
