The above article on a 19th century hypnotist/medical pratitioner/athlete was recently created by User:DJ71park and already weighs in in at over 238,000 bytes. The subject is interesting and notable, but the current presentation is verbose, including collateral biographic/historic information on numerous colleagues and related enterprises and investments. I know that article was copyedited before, and that was nearly six years ago when I initially hoped to bring the article to GA. But life got in the way and I managed to uncover more information and overhaul the article to its current state. It's now at GA, but I hope to bring it to FA (FAC) standard soon enough. I'd like to see if the assessment of the article could be raised. As is, it is in need of a copyedit since it is probably a bit overly detailed in some sections (such as Marketing & Reception). I will flag that the development of this article was pretty contentious throughout 2024/2025 leading to multiple RfCs; however, the article has be stable for the last 6 months. While the article was copyedited, there was a major change recently as a result of researching more scholars to expand the reception whereas the content about the anime's making was moved to another one resulting in a major overhaul.
