Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Incubator/Napoleonic fiction

To organise editor collaborations on Napoleonic era fiction articles. Although by their nature they will contain fictional elements, only those articles that deal factually with Napoleonic warfare as a major theme are considered to come under the scope of this working group (note:all of the books in the following series, and similar ones should be included even though some are before the rise of Napoleon). These include (but are not limited to):

• The Sharpe series of novels by Bernard Cornwell, and related TV series.
• The Hornblower series of novels by C. S. Forester, and related TV series.
• The Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian and the related movie Master and Commander: Far Side of the World.
• The Thomas Kydd series of novels by Julian Stockwin.
• The Ramage series of novels by Dudley Pope.

• Sadads (talk · contribs) - doing major research on Patrick O'Brian, am beginning to maintain several of the pages
• pbl1998 (talk · contribs)-Love Naopleonic Wars along with the books on it. Will Help this section.

• For user pages: {{User Napoleonic fiction working group}}, which adds pages to Category:Napoleonic fiction working group participants
• For talk pages: {{Napoleonic fiction}}, which adds pages to Category:Napoleonic fiction working group articles
  • If it is written fiction, it should include {{WikiProject Novels|military-task-force=yes}} - as it will also be covered by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Military fiction task force.
  • If it is a film, it should include {{WikiProject Military history|Films=yes}} and {{WikiProject Film|War-task-force=yes}} - as it will also be covered by the Wikipedia:WikiProject Films/War films task force.
• For stub articles:
  • If it is written fiction, it should include {{War-novel-stub}} at the bottom of the article
  • If it is a film, it should include {{War-film-stub}} at the bottom of the article
