Welcome to the eleventh Bugle for 2025!

From the editors

The article news section highlights the six articles that were promoted to featured status in October and four new featured pictures.

Unfortunately, no articles were promoted to A-class status in October. At the time of writing, there were 19 active A-class nominations, with some having been open for a long time. We'd strongly encourage members of the project to volunteer a small amount of time to post a review.

With Christmas and the holiday season almost upon us, this edition has an extra-large book review section. Nick-D and Hawkeye7 have contributed four reviews, and the regular round up of recent reviews published elsewhere includes seven books on a wide range of subjects. Hawkeye7 has also kindly contributed the regular this month in military history section.

Finally, Nick-D has recently reached 20 years on Wikipedia, and has shared an op-ed with some reflections on how Wikipedia and this Wikiproject have changed.
