Making a request

Before asking volunteers to look for your source, try finding it yourself with the tools at your disposal.

In particular, eligible editors can use the Wikipedia Library, which gives access to content provided by numerous academic publishers.

• Though we would prefer you to ask for a specific journal, article or work, we will accept open-ended questions. You can ask for all kinds of sources here, either on this page or by writing directly to an active user.
• Provide as much detail as possible: a full citation with author, title, publisher, date and identifiers like DOI, ISBN, ISSN, PMID, OCLC, etc. Indicate which article you need this for.
• Due to copyright restrictions, we cannot send you full book/thesis copies. Narrow down your request to a specific chapter or page(s).
• Since we cannot post original copyrighted material online, we will most likely send it by email. Make sure you have specified an email address in your preferences before asking.
• Add the {{Resolved}} template when your request is completed.
• Filled requests are archived. Requests unfilled after three months will also be archived.

No it wasnt in the selected pages oddly (I am copying from a translated wiki which referenced those) so I am looking for pages in this book regarding Llandudno Library which I think could either be on a) a page about Mostyn Street or b) surrounding an illustration of John Bright on page 71. First Fruits

Hey folks, this is a tough one. I'm working on a sandbox article for the Huntington Hartford Foundation. There's an important source from the Foundation that was published in 1956. It is more commonly known as First Fruits, and is held by major libraries under that name, but two of them have it under Six Years of Accomplishments so I included that alternate OCLC just in case. UCLA, Harvard, and NYPL all have copies. Thanks for any help. If you have access to the work, let me know as I have a few questions, mostly having to do with the history of the property and the names of all of the fellows, as they are very hard to find. There were supposedly 400 famous artists hosted by the Foundation, but the sources are almost non-existent. One of the reasons this is important to me is because while Huntington Hartford was a very flawed man and had some very strange, eccentric ideas, and caused a lot of problems in the art world at the time, there are recent sources that attribute some measure of historical interest to his indirect promotion of the concept of contemporary art over the term "modern" (he wasn't the first, but he helped contribute to this debate), and the idea that his art colony, for all its wasted money, produced some measure of success, results which have been lost to time and are left to others to discover. This is also a very California-oriented topic unique to that state's history, and there's a dearth of coverage about it. For comparison, we have Druid Heights in NoCal, Moy Mell in SLO, and Rustic Canyon, this topic, which has not been covered on Wikipedia in any depth. Thanks. Access to Italian and Griko folktales of the Animal as Bridegroom cycle

These two for King Lindworm and The Girl with Two Husbands. "O re serpente" is a Griko tale, which, per Renato Aprile's summary in his Index, has the same double narrative of the Greek tales: heroine marries snake prince and disenchants him, revives dead man and marries him, chooses between first and second husbands.

For King Crin, Italian tale with the enchanted husband in pig form; geographically, it is located in Italy; ethnographically, it is a tale told by the Griko people of South Italy.

For The Golden Root. "Tuone e Lampe" is the name of the heroine's husband, meaning Thunder and Lightning.

For Prunella (fairy tale). In Italian variants, per Renato Aprile's Index, the heroine's name, Petrosinella, can indicate it to be a variant of Rapunzel/Basile's Petrosinella (ATU 310) or AaTh 428, "The Wolf".

Need the definition of "clean hands" or "clean hands doctrine" or "unclean hands doctrine" or similar.

This is a guide to access it Words and Phrases no longer needed.

ETA: If anyone can get of the newest edition of American Law Reports and find info about the same doctrine, it would be great.

Need access to sections 111 to 113 of that source, as well as this page. If you can find it in other parts of Halsbury's Laws of England I'd be grateful. Requires a LexisNexis subscription.

Szmenderowiecki, for the ALR, there's the fairly well-organized public-domain 1919 version, and then it's just been updated over the years with a "cumulative supplement" with headnotes from bazillions of cases that mention clean hands with little or no topical organization. I don't think you'd find it very useful, and it runs to north of 200 pages, which is more than I can plausibly claim fair use on. The more recent ALRs focus on much narrower topics (e.g., "Unclean Hands as Bar to Equitable Relief in Domestic Relations Proceeding or Dispute"). Access to Indonesian and Indic Ocean tales in French

A summary of the Indonesian tale mentions that the princess goes in search of her husband Lembayoung to release him from the curse. The books in item 1 are German and French translations of the tale. Whichever is available.

The other book is a collection of Réunionais tales by Réunionais writer Daniel Honoré, with the text in Créole and French. I'm looking for the French translation.

Want to check if the texts are retranslations of the Totemboan tale Verhaal van den Koningszoon in den hemel en de Koningsdochter op de aarde (Dutch translation), which Jan-Öjvind Swahn classified as his type A, Cupid and Psyche (missing husband, search, tasks for mother-in-law).

The books in item 4 are German and French translations of the tale. Whichever is available.

The book only mentions Miscanti in passing as the endpoint of a 1912 expedition, so it might not be of much actual use in the article you're writing, but do you still want a copy of the page? "Erach Rediscovered: Coins, Inscriptions, Seals and Sealings", by Om Prakash Lal Srivastava

This is a weird request because I know what I'm looking for in the book, but I have no idea where it is. It's for the article on Erich, Uttar Pradesh, which currently claims in the lead section, without attribution, that the town was called "Erikachha" or "Erakachha" in ancient times. Srivastava's book is basically about the archaeology of the site, and it says on its back cover that it was an ancient city-state called Erakachha. So basically what I'm looking for is whichever pages contain the statement that Erich=Erakachha, along with whatever evidence he's basing it on (I'm assuming it's inscriptions on coins, based on the back cover). I don't know what pages these things would be on, though.

They apparently have a copy of this book at the New York Public Library (basically the only place I could find it), so maybe someone in that area could get access and find out which pages this is on? Alternatively, if someone in India happens to have access to a copy of the book, then that could also work, although I can't find any information online about libraries in India that have it.

This is probably a lot to ask, so I apologize in advance.
