Guidelines
Here are general guidelines for different types of articles in the project.
- Consider adding one of these navigational boxes to the end of the article:
- {{Statistics}} (example: Statistical hypothesis testing)
- {{Least squares and regression analysis}} (example: Nonlinear regression)
- {{Experimental design}} (example: Randomized block design)
- {{Medical research studies}} (example: Randomized controlled trial)

- {{Theory of probability distributions}} (example: Probability mass function)
- Tag the discussion page with
{{WPStatistics|importance= | class=}}- and (if there is substantial mathematics content)
{{maths rating|field=probability and statistics | importance= | class=}}- using appropriate values for the class and importance parameters as described here.
General statistics articles
- Use one or more sub-category of Category:Statistics
- Tag stubs with {{statistics-stub}}
Probability distributions
- Suggestions regarding the structure of articles about probability distributions are here
- Include either of these infoboxes (feel free to leave some parameters blank):
- Add an appropriate sub-category of Category:Probability distributions

Biographies of statisticians
- Include {{infobox scientist}} with all known information.
- Add Category:Statisticians or one of its sub-categories
- Make sure you follow the policy on Biographies of living persons
