Settlements
The following lists need to have a complete list of settlements (hamlets may be combined into a single article about the civil parish). Additionally every settlement needs at a minimum:
- Location relative to nearest town (use Multimap)
- 2001 population: many county council websites carry lists of civil parishes (often just referred to as parishes) with population
- In the external links add {{oscoor gbx}} for a link to map sources.
Anybody can make these stubs! You don't need to know the village to write something like: "XYZ is a village in Exampleshire, England, situated five miles south-west of Exampletown. At the Census 2001 the village had a population of 2,031."
User:Morwen/alldab is a project to make sure all English civil parishes have articles, working gradually through an alphabetical list. Please feel free to claim a section and work on it.
Below is a checklist for ticking off as various tasks are completed.
