WiR redlist index: BBC 100 Women redlinks

Welcome to WikiProject Women in Red (WiR). Our objective is to turn red links into blue ones. Our scope is women's biographies, women's works, and women's issues, broadly construed.

This list of red links is intended to serve as a basis for creating new articles on the English Wikipedia. Please note however that the red links on this list may well not be suitable as the basis for an article. All new articles must satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria with reliable independent sources.

  • This is a list of redlinks from the BBC 100 Women initiative, which is based on information retrieved from the "BBC 100 Women" website.
  • The year dates refer to the year(s) when those listed appeared in "BBC 100 Women" (some being listed more than once).
  • Any names which are struck out are considered WP:TOOSOON. These were evaluated in Nov 2016 and can be re-evaluated at other times to determine if there is more coverage so the article will pass notability standards. Note, it is possible that some foreign language sources were missed during the last evaluation.
