With this being the 250th anniversary of the United States, July 5th should probably also have a U.S. founding article as the UTC timing in the states will greatly overlap into the evening of July 4th, the usual time period that the nation celebrates the holiday. Is there any new Founding Father or U.S. founding document article ready for feature status or let's do a rerun of John Adams (originally featured on March 4, 2019). Thanks. • I do not think it is a good idea to run two American articles in a row that are associated with its founding, as editors may think it is focusing too much attention on American-centred articles. This is a special occasion, a full countrywide celebration of its 250th anniversary. Two articles would cover the North American time zones applicable to the event, the UTC timing of July 4th. I doubt if there would be many or any complaints of two in a row for such a unique day, and the effects of the accomplishments and cultural legacy of John Adams reaches far beyond the physical boundries of the U.S. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:57, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Not intending to undercut a feature that they've had in the feature list for a long time, hopefully they understand and, if this occurs, they should have their pick of future dates. • @Randy Kryn: If Adams is scheduled for the July 5 spot, I will move Lyon-class battleship to the 25th and bump Las Meninas to a another month (Las Meninas is a rerun and I don't think there's a specific date nomination for it, and liberty bell is an art article). I had requested that U.S. Route 101 run on its upcoming 100th anniversary (November 11, 2026), as it is a pretty significant highway and happens to also have digits to match the date. Could this be swapped out? SounderBruce 03:46, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
