Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Oregon/Portland

This is the beginning of the workgroup. The plan is to get more non-WPOR people who edit Portland items invovled and take charge in improving PDX related articles. Items to be created:

• User box
• workgroup icon added to WPOR banner {{WikiProject Oregon}} that would show on PDX articles similar to WPBIO workgroup icons

The articles on the Hawthorne and Belmont neighborhoods are in dire need of improvement. This is my hood, so I can coordinate any specifics or take images as needed. But a hand would be nice, as they basically need a complete re-write. The Ladd's Addition article really is quite bad as well. On a more general note, great idea here Aboutmovies! This category is up for discussion. It seems to have been part of an abandoned effort to promote/improve coverage of Portland art and artists that is slowly being dismantled. If anybody involved in that effort is still around, you might want to check into this. Katr67 20:22, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
