Overseas markets

Indonesia

The Wuling Starlight 730 was also introduced in Indonesia during the 2025 GIIAS in July 2025, initially as the Wuling Cortez Darion and later simply as the Wuling Darion in PHEV and EV variants.[5][6] According to SGMW Indonesia, the name Darion stands for Dari Indonesia (lit.'From Indonesia') to signify that it is engineered, assembled, and first introduced in Indonesia.[7] The Cortez name which has been dropped was a nod to the mechanically unrelated Wuling Cortez.[8]

The Darion was launched in Indonesia on 5 November 2025, with two trim levels: CE and EX, both trim levels are each available with PHEV and EV variants.[6][9]

Hong Kong

The Wuling Darion EV was also introduced in Hong Kong during the IMXpo 2025.[10] The Darion EV was imported from Indonesia since December 2025. Sales start on December 2025.[11]

Brunei

The Darion was also introduced in Brunei on 27 February 2026 and it is offered in CE and EX variants, all powered by the PHEV powertrains.[12]
