The Rural Municipality of Emerald No. 277 (2016 population: 405) is a rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 10 and SARM Division No. 4.

In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Emerald No. 277 had a population of 370 living in 178 of its 210 total private dwellings, a change of −8.6% from its 2016 population of 405. With a land area of 807.18 km2 (311.65 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km2 (1.2/sq mi) in 2021.[9]
In the 2016 Census of Population, the RM of Emerald No. 277 recorded a population of 405 living in 205 of its 258 total private dwellings, a −9.4% change from its 2011 population of 447. With a land area of 854.44 km2 (329.90 sq mi), it had a population density of 0.5/km2 (1.2/sq mi) in 2016.[4]
