Water Tiger (Chinese: 壬寅; pinyin: rényín) is the 39th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Metal Ox and followed by Water Rabbit. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, rén (壬) represents yang and Water, while the Earthly Branch yín (寅) corresponds to the Tiger zodiac.[1][2]
