Châu Thành district, Đồng Tháp

Châu Thành is a former rural district (huyện) of Đồng Tháp province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2019 the district had a population of 146,812.[1] The district covers an area of 245 km2 (95 sq mi). The district capital lies at Cái Tàu Hạ commune-level town.[1]

On June 16, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 1685/NQ-UBTVQH15.[2] The district was dissolved and new wards were rearranged from the district.
