Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em est le troisième album studio d'Eric B. & Rakim, sorti le 19 juin 1990.

Cet album marque un tournant dans la carrière du groupe car Rakim adopte une voix plus profonde et agressive et parle de sujets plus matures et sérieux. Il est considéré comme l'album le plus abouti du duo.

En 1998, le magazine américain The Source l'a classé parmi les « 100 meilleurs albums de rap^[5] ».

L'album s'est classé 10^e au Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums et 32^e au Billboard 200^[6].
