サキ・ドクリル

大阪府出身。大阪府立住吉高等学校・京都大学法学部を卒業、1976年京都大学大学院法学研究科博士前期課程修了。1981年イギリスに移住し、1982年サセックス大学大学院修士課程修了。1988年ロンドン大学キングス・カレッジ大学院博士課程を修了、D.Phil.を取得。

イェール大学歴史学部ジョン・M・オーリン基金研究員（1988-89年）などを経て、1992年よりロンドン大学キングス・カレッジ講師、1997年より同上級講師。2003年から現代史・国際安全保障講座教授に就任した。

1986年、同じく歴史学者であるマイケル・ドクリルと結婚。1993年英国市民権を取得した。2009年、癌で死去。
