Der African Cup of Champions Clubs 1988 war die 24. Ausgabe des jährlichen afrikanischen Fußballwettbewerbs, dem African Cup of Champions Clubs. Am Wettbewerb nahmen 37 Mannschaften aus 37 Verbänden teil.[1]
ES Sétif aus Algerien gewann den Titel erstmals. Im Finale setzte sich der Verein mit insgesamt 4:1 gegen Iwuanyanwu Nationale aus Nigeria durch.[1]

Das Hinspiel fand am 26. November 1988 im Liberty Stadium in Ibadan statt. Iwuanyanwu Nationale gewann die Begegnung mit 1:0. Das Rückspiel wurde am 9. Dezember in Constantine ausgetragen. ES Sétif gewann mit 4:0 und entschied das Finale damit mit einem Gesamtergebnis von 4:1 für sich.[1]
