P. C. Hodgell

Patricia „Pat“ Christine Hodgell (* 16. März 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa, USA[1]) ist eine US-amerikanische Fantasy-Autorin. Sie unterrichtete seit 1981 Englisch am University of Wisconsin System in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.[1]
Zwischen dem Erscheinen ihrer ersten beiden Romane erwarb sie ihren Ph. D. im Fach Englische Literatur des 19. Jahrhunderts. Sie promovierte über Wahrheit und Fiktion in Walter Scotts Ivanhoe mit der Arbeit Ivanhoe: The Nonsense of Ancient Days.[2]
Dann begann Hodgell, Geschichten am laufenden Band zu produzieren – Arbeiten, die ihr eine Einladung zum Clarion Writers’ Workshop einbrachten.[3]
