William J. Bernstein ist ein US-amerikanischer Autor und Neurologe. Er ist Herausgeber des vierteljährlich erscheinenden Magazins Efficient Frontier. Er schreibt regelmäßig Kolumnen für den Morningstar und das Wall Street Journal.

Bernstein hat einen PhD in Chemie und einen M.D. in Neurologie. Er beschäftigt sich in seinen Büchern mit Investmentstrategien und Wirtschaftsgeschichte.
