The 15 Uhlan Regiment (Polish: 15 Pułk Ułanów) – was an uhlan regiment in Army of the Duchy of Warsaw.

Regimental history

15 Uhlan Regiment was formed in 1809 in Galician Podolia.[1] Until the 28th December 1809 the regiment was called 6th Galician-French Cavalry Regiment (Polish:6 Pułkiem Jazdy Galicyjsko-Francuskiej).[1] At the end of 1809 the regiment had 916 soldiers.[2]

Uniform

From 1810, the following uniform colours were in force:[3]

Crimson collar with white piping; crimson lapels with white piping.

Crimson sleeve cuffs with white piping

Crimson lampasses with white piping.[4]
