1819 North Carolina gubernatorial election

The 1819 North Carolina gubernatorial election was held on November 24, 1819, in order to elect the governor of North Carolina. Incumbent Democratic-Republican governor John Branch was re-elected by the North Carolina General Assembly as he ran unopposed. The exact number of votes cast in this election is unknown.[1]

General election
On election day, November 24, 1819, incumbent Democratic-Republican governor John Branch was re-elected by the North Carolina General Assembly, thereby retaining Democratic-Republican control over the office of governor. Branch was sworn in for his third term on December 7, 1819.[2]
