- 21 May â Convention of London indefinitely extends ceasefire with the Kingdom of the Netherlands following the Belgian Revolution of 1830
- 23 May â 1833 Belgian general election
- 16 June â Jean Arnold Barrett consecrated as Bishop of Namur
- 18 July â Law on distilleries passed, establishing a duty of 22 centimes per hectolitre per day on distillation containers used.[3]
- 8 September â First Daughters of the Cross make their vows (founder Marie Thérèse Haze).
