The 1884 Lafayette football team was an American football team that represented Lafayette College as an independent during the 1884 college football season. Playing without a regular coach, the team compiled a 2â5 record and was outscored by a total of 261 to 88.[1][2] Lewis Frey was the team captain,[3] and F. Drake was the manager.[1] The team played its home games on The Quad in Easton, Pennsylvania.
