The 1906 Texas Longhorns football team was an American football team that represented the University of Texas (now known as the University of Texas at Austin) as a member of the Southwestern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SWIAA) during the 1906 college football season. In their first and only year under head coach H. R. Schenker, the Longhorns compiled an overall record of 9â1, with a mark of 4â0 in conference play, and outscored opponents by a total of 201 to 60.[1]
